I remember when the LAV's were clearanced out at TRU for $15. Didn't get one then, and sure not going to get one now.

Avengers for $35.95 (with damaged box). Should I get another?

If MD staff could confirm that the plane itself was intact, I'd say get another. The Avengers are no fun when there are broken parts - which happened quite alot.

On another note...

The MD prices for the BBI armor are a bit high. The Sherman (which is fantastic) could potentially be justified for the price, but not really in my opinion. The LAV is not worth it. Glad I picked up both of those vehicles when I did.

Thanks for the heads up guys. Just put in a order for an avenger with the damaged box. Always wanted this scheme and never could find one for this cheap. Sometimes its worth the wait, you never know especially in this scale.

I jumped on the sherman since they seem to go for nearly double that price on ebay!

I spent this evening reading over this thread and the fun we had getting all the deals Monkey Depot was giving us in 2009 from Feb - Aug.
It was nice to read the names of some of our old board members.

Last gasp of the glory days... And what a time!

However, speaking of Monkey Depot sales, they currently have the 21c Swastika 1/18 and 1/32 scale decals on sale for $0.10 a sheet! These must be the final remnants of the 21c stock they acquired back in 2008/2009 as they are the 21c-made decals for the BF109, ME262, and the 1/32 scale decal sheet. Also, they must have a lot of them as when I placed an order for two of each sheet several days ago, I received extra sheets over what I had ordered for no additional charge :D
