The local hobby shop around the corner has about a 100% markup. I add it to my to do list to stop by and see what a their order price is.

Bee Gee was on our civilian aircraft poll!

Sorry for the sudden silence, I've been fighting a bug that finally won and pretty much knocked my out.

The GeeBee, I believe is the same price, didn't ask about a pilot tho.

I was reminded that the GeeBee is a real small plane, the one in the photo with the V-1 is the 1/18th scale sample.

Aferg, I mentioned the board, but it wasn't necessary. They were getting lotsa calls from the folks here.
Tanks for the memories

Make sure you ask for the models department. I got bounced around to 4 different people before I got ahold of the right person. The V-1 is 29.99 plus 7 S&H. Not too hateful in my opinon. The gent said that the container arrives in port tomorrow and they should be shipping out next week. The GeeBee does not come with a pilot this time around and he anticipates the price to be somewhere in the 40 dollar range. He was hopeful that in a later edition there might be a pilot, but he made no promises. He said the Bell X-1 would be more like next summer, and there are other things in the works--but he said he couldn't say anything because of the way things are. I am very happy and anxious to see how their product comes out. If it is good, I am hoping to order more doodle bugs.

As an aside, since they have been doing the rocket thing, do you think they are considering doing the Komet Me 163? That would surely be sweet.

You know, I was thinking about using the AVG pilot as my GeeBee pilot. I think that will work for now.
