If you are referring to the story on my RC Tank HQ site, it says HL in Co-operation with Awesome Hobbies provided the promo pic . Whilst Awesome Hobbies will no doubt be amongst the first to have stocks available it's not an exclusive like the Matorro Jagdtiger currently is.

Am I completely blind or what!
I feel pretty dumb!
Never put it together that RC Tank HQ was your site even with the site address in each of your posts. I visit the site usually several times a week. I normally don't go quite that brain dead but I sure did in this case.
Maybe you might have some info on this question. Was the Matorro KT a limited release or what? Maybe an exclusive from some dealer? I haven't ran across that info, probably becasue I don't frequent the RC sites. Guess maybe I should start.

The Matorro KT has been generally available since about 2007, no exclusivity that I'm aware of. I got one recently from Awesome Hobbies.
The Jagdtiger is a different story however and it's a long story which I'm not at liberty to disclose, if you want one of those you'll have to go to Awesome Hobbies because a general release ain't going to happen.

Question is, what's that Jagdtiger gonna run? I'd like one...
KT too. They'd probably go right to the top of my list of things I'd like next, knowing what I know now.

The jagdtiger shows ready for shipping at $229. As I said earlier, looks like the cheapest shipping is around $80, but that also looks like around 60 days in transit. I assume it would be shipped by water. Unfortunately its an exclusive by a company in Australia which means very high prices. At the same time, at least someone stepped up and made this piece available.
As for the Matorro KT. The are shown as out of stock at Awsome Hobbies and I haven't seen one for sale
anywhere other than ebay in close to a year. Thats why I asked tankduel about them. Doesn't seem there were many released since its near impossible to find, even on ebay. I emailed Matorro a couple of months ago and asked about the KT and got the reply that no date had been set for its release. Thats what threw me! They have already been released quite a while ago, they just quickly disappeared.
What I really don't understand is why Panzer III's, IV's, Tigers, Stugs, Panthers, T-34's, etc., seem to keep being produced in large quantities, but the KT seems to have had just that one short production run and then they quit making them. This new one should not really be considered a new one. It is a re-release as I see it.

The new KT with so called Porsche turret is produced by Heng Long, I think it uses new molds and not Matorro's, and the electronics will certainly be different. I'm sure it won't be long before they start showing up around here.

I agree, it may be alittle, but they will show up at US vendors and the price will be alot better.
I missed out on the Mattoro KingTiger, I'm not planning on missing the Heng Long.

Thanks, I spent many many hours on it. I'm a bit apprehensive,( I was going to say sheepish but in NZ that's too close to home
) about showing it with the light green paintjob but it's something different that I like and I think contrasts well with the markings and painted details.

Will that be expensive TD? I haven't bought a Tiger yet... The HL one doesn't have Zimmerit, correct? So I'd still probably dig owning both.

That metal looks sharp.
Thanks TD, I'm anxious for that new one then. It'll be cool having early and late. I've never heard of this company though or where they're sold now. I'm kind of shocked.

So far, the only place I can find the Tiger for pre-order has a price of around $250, which doesn't include shiping from overseas. For the RC guys that may not be too bad due to all of the metal parts. But for someone wanting to use it for a static model, thats a little pricey, at least for me it is.

All that metal on that Tiger I, and they didn't even fix the gun length problems.

Thats cool but $499?? I don't want someone else's model, I would rather build it myself. Any kits available? I'm not big on RC, I collect the scale because of the variety of stuff out there that is lacking in 1/18
