Hustler,
Like I mentioned in the other thread, the article you link to is from 2009 and shows the JSI F-14 prototype on display (hence no spots). The only other Cat there is a 1/32 prototype from Trumpeter. There's been no photos of JSI's Tomcat kit to date.

JSI F-14 in kit form?

Post by rschaap » Thu Mar 25, 2010 3:36 pm

Below is the the responce I received from JSI/Merit Int'l about two weeks ago. I have since asked about the price, the pilot and RIO along with the deck vehicles shown at various toy shows. I hope to hear from Tony soon. I know he is very busy and contacts me when he can. I will post something as soon as I know. Keep the faith.

Hi Rudy
Thank you for your email inquiry about the 1/18 F14A kit.

Yes, a kit version will be released around June/July. Right now we are determining how much parts need to be sub-assembled and at same time making the kit for easy build and paint.

Hope to hear from you soon.

All the best

Tony

Still no word from Tony. I left another message for him. Like I said before he is extremely busy and gets back to me when he can. I'm hoping to hear from him soon and will pass on the info. Keep those fingers crossed.

Here was the response I got from "Merit Internantional". Tony has not responded as of yet. Not really an answer, so I'm holding out for Tony to respond.

Dear Rudy:

Thank you for your request. We would like to ask you to check on our web site from time to time for updates on the topics that you have asked about.

I was told you live in L.A. Would you be attending the Weekend of Heroes show in Burbank? June 5th and 6th. Should be fun.

Best regards

Jim

Update on JSI F-14 pilot figures: I heard from my JSI dealer---he doesn't know if/when the F-14 pilots will be released.

This isn't looking good.
