I got mine today. The paint work is quite good. The only thing I noticed is a bit of olive drab showing through the yellow on the engine cowl. Other than that it is very good. The attempt at weathering around the fuel fillers is less than realistic, but I'll be weathering all the panel lines and adding a few other touches to make it more realistic so that isn't a big concern of mine.

I got mine today. The plane is great the paint is ?? It looks like a 5 o'clock Friday rush job. The yellow spinner has touch ups on it the engine cowlings looks like it was sanded and repainted by hand. By far the roughest paint job that I have ever seed on a XD. Bad Cat is not at falt here it is those little Chinese guys. I ordered one from Military Toys as well, hopefully that one will be up to par.

I had my California Cutie on pre-order from Historic Aviation and have been waiting quite a while. But alas, today the wait was over!! UPS delivered mine and wow! I really like this plane. Nice color contrasts. The only flaws were a scratch on the portside spinner and there seems to be different shades of yellow used between the cowlings and the spinners. But on further inspection, I see that olive drab is bleeding through in some areas. Not a difficult fix though. I like this one more than my Pudgy.

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!
