These figures are looking good! I can't wait to see them painted up. I'm glad they are making the shotgun, and especially the M21, because now we will have a good M-14. The M-16 is also a great improvement over 21st's original.

Same here. I'm not a big vietnam era fan and I never loved the movie platoon, but those figures are excellent! Very good sculpting job, perfect articulation. This might be the best figures since the paratroopers wave in 2002. Perhaps even better - Let's wait for the first pictures of the painted versions. I hope the production quality and the paint job will better than the last WWII wave.

The question is if it would make enough money to pay for such a movie license. Stuff like that is expensive and I don't know if there are so many Full Metal Jacket Fans out there who would love to see some figures made.

Full Metal Jacket is a cult clasic, I think it would make money....

I agree Full Metal Jacket is a cult classic, if they did make these people who are not even "toy collectors" would buy them. But the licensing would be expensive. We can dream can't we?

I have to admit I've never seen the movie Platoon and although Full Metal Jacket had it's good parts, It's never really held my interest for long.

At least with the "Full Metal Jacket" licence 21stCT would have an excuse to make a CH-34 Choctaw! But what we really need is for 21stCT to get that "Apocalypse Now" license just so they can finally produce that PBR-II that we know they have!!!!!, I seem to recall also that in the opening scenes from "Platoon" that the C-130 Herc' played a major role!

While we are at it and talking Vietnam related licence potential who's up for the "Always" license so that way we could get hold an A-26 and a C-119 Boxcar (or “Flight of the Phoenix”) not to mention a PBY, or the Air America license so we can get a C-123 Provider and a Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter I seem to recall that there was even an O-1 Birddog in that movie as well. Then there is "Bat 21" so we can get an O-2 Skymaster and a Jolly Green even if the movie did not use a HH-3, and yes I did not forget a “Flight of the Intruder” licence for an A-6.

So are there any A-10 related movies apart from that micro-second appearance in "Jarhead"

Just some food for thought.

About the longest A-10 sequence I have seen in a movie to date was ironically in Transformers. But I am sure there are others.

Yeah your right, I think that was the best part of the movie too! That and the gunship blowing the crap out of scoponic or scorponuts or whatever that thing was called.
