Anyone for more Helos?

Post by wreckchaser » Sun Feb 25, 2007 9:24 am

Would anyone like to see some new Helos that haven't been done yet?
like the 34,46,47 or dare I say a 53 or hind. A 53 would go great with AT's
Skyraider and the F-4 .You could have your rescue force for downed pilots.

The MI-24 "Hind" gunship would be an amazing toy but in 1/18, it will be huge.

A Hind would be awesome. And a Korea-era MASH chopper

I'd love to see a korean era MASH chopper and ANY kind of OPFOR helo.

But, I'm not optimistic.

well let's hope when the Platoon line comes out this year there's a reworked Huey D in the line up. Slim chance i figger but there's hope. They'd sell alot more figures if they made a stretched Huey to put them in. ;)

BBI has a Hind prototype. 21c never had one to my knowledge. Don't know if we'll ever see BBI's come to life; sure hope so.

Apparently helicopters don't sell well but they used to say that about 1/18 armour and that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I think you just need to make enough of some things so that people who are sitting on the fringe will commit to the new scale; being unwilling to do so until there is a decent enough variety available to commit to.

Would love to see a Hind. I'd have to pick up a couple. A Chinook would be cool as well but the rotar radius would be huge!!

Mi-24 Hind would be good. Very good... A Ch-53 would also be sweet--lots of potential variations on a theme :)

I was hoping BBI would fix the cockpit doors on their Apache, and make the Longbow version.

Even if they don't increase the width of the fusalage, that's okay.

Good call on the Hind and the MASH Sioux bubble chopper. I'd pick up the pair immediately.

A Comanche would likely sell well to the masses (and me of course). :D

Looks like we have a few MI-24 fans here  I always liked it myself,I wouldn't want to be caught on the business end of it.I remember seeing the film footage of them flying down the valleys of Afghanistan with the rebels up on the ridges chunking rocks at them as they went by.I also read an account of one being brought down with a muzzle loading rifle. The round struck the tail rotor and stuck to it. knocking it out of balance, not a good thing in a chopper.

Please refer to my post under the USCG Helo thread. :D

An SH-60 or HH-60 is what I want. Of course, any helo that is produced I will buy in a heartbeat.

I agree a USCG helo will be a great way to honor the men and women of the USCG who risked their lives to help our nation's own during the Katrina disaster.

We need a helo with resucue swimmer and hoist!!!!

I would like to see a Sikorsky H-3 Sea King. Maybe it could come with an Apollo space capsule...
