Who plans on getting a Hellcat?

Post by Sabrefan » Mon Feb 19, 2007 1:56 pm

I for one am really looking forward to the release of the BBI F6F Hellcat. Who else out there plans on getting one, or more? :D

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game. :)

It's not a must have plane for me, so Ill see when there are more photos out, or if it actually goes to TRU.

Does anyone know if BBI has settled on a specific paint scheme for the first run of the Hellcat?

I'll be purchasing a Hellcat as well. It should be a nice looking plane. I sure would like to see some production photos!

As for bbi jets.... I don't care which jets they produce. As long as they make 'em, I'm buying 'em. I would be beyond happy if they made a Tomcat to go along with the Hellcat. Wouldn't that be the prize piece?!

In due time...........

I hope we see all the Grumman cats one day. BBI sure could make a great looking F8F Bearcat. :D

I am definitely in for one. It's hard to put up a decent showing in the PTO without one!

I will deffinitely be down for one! Considering that it is such an important plane in WWII aviation history, it's certainly a must for any representative WWII aircraft collection! I like the scheme that BBI is showing on their prototype - it is beautiful yet has that "standard" look to it. The Hellcat is going to go very nicely next to my BBI Corsair and Zero (as well as my 21c Avenger and AT Dauntless) 8)

I am sure the BBI F6F will be a Great compliment to the 21C Avenger and the numerous Corsairs. Who, other than myself, would find the "sharkmouth" scheme attractive on the Hellcat?

Something like this.... http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/ref/k ... _f6f_d.jpg

I hope BBI does the sharknose scheme on the Hellcat. That has always been a favorite of mine.

I am in for all the paints. But I do think that the tiger mouth on the F6F is a little silly. I may have to do a wait and see on it :? But I will get all the other paints. Count me in :D

I'm 90% sure but want to see one at TRU before I pull the trigger. Then again, I might cave and preorder from BadCat as soon as that becomes an option!
