Maaaaaan.

I have the same problem; I'd love to see that kind of distribution here. :(

I have to say, though, the guys at 21stCT are really nice folks! I left a message for them yesterday and they returned my call within a day. I recapped my previous conversation about my busted Atlantic Avenger from Walmart, and how the store reps kept telling me they weren't in stock and had already removed that UPC from their computers.

He didn't have any explanation for Walmart's practices with their UPCs, but he assured me once again that while the Flight 19 Avenger wave should already be out in stores --SHOULD be-- that Walmart did indeed order a new batch of the Atlantic birds in the grey scheme which should be at the DistrHQ within the next month or so. In other words, according to his comments it sounds like we'll see the Flight 19's then the Atlantic's again on the shelves. Or at least SOMEplace in the Walmarts. (fingers crossed) :) And, he reminded me, the George Bush Avengers are still in the pipe and on their way, too.

Now, I'm keeping in mind that this could very well be how things are panning out on 21st's end, and they don't have any reason to mess with their customers, really. But it all comes out on Walmart's side so I really, really hope we actually see these show up on the shelves. If Walmart keeps making new UPCs for each wave, it's going to be tough to track them without updated information. So if anyone sees the next waves can you post the UPCs so we know what to show to our local toy dept managers? (Mods, please feel free to tell me if that's an inappropriate request)

BCA has discounted their "Atlantic" Avengers to $59.99. Not quite like the Wal Mart deals for the same plane, but still better than the $84.95 retail price!

Wow, that's not bad. They have alot of other enticing stuff, too. 8)

If Walmart doesn't get the Atlantic Avengers again, I hope BCA still has that offer running when my toy allowance comes back from the dead. It was tough enough convincing my SO to buy the one at the Walmart Clearance price.

Looks like BCA goes through inventory pretty steadily, though... :?

At the Toy Fair, 21C had the Bunker Hill Avenger and it is such a beautiful piece I almost hugged it.......almost.

It makes the Atlantic version look really "plain Jane".

I can't wait till it's out.

Yes, that Bunker Hill Avenger looks nice. Anyone have an idea when it will be out?

I like my Ft 19 scheme, I think that dark look is better than the atlantic scheme.

Now where to put it...

Yes the Flight 19 Avenger is really nice looking. I like the overall dark paint scheme.

Just did the next set of photoshoots for 21st with the Flight 19 and Atlantic Avengers. Here's some previews of these beautiful aircraft! If you haven't gotten an Avenger yet, go out and get them IMMEDIATLY! They are AMAZING to say the least!

Awesome pictures! I got my Flight 19 Avenger in today, and it is a beauty. Love that paint scheme, and the alien is cool also. :D

I was wondering how you guys display you Avenger models. Due to its size, do you display yours with the wings folded? wings extended? or display the plane hung from the ceiling? Thanks. :D

Now that I have 6 Avengers, I think wings folded will be the wise choice :-P he he.

I shot a lot more photos, this is just a sampling. I'll put up some boxed and carded shots when I can.

Britt, just a question, but how was the quality on your Flight 19 Avengers? Any cracked canopies?

Awesome photos, BTW :D

I am sorely tempted to remove mine from it's box for display, but my available space is severely limited ( hence my usual propensity toward 1/32) Can someone give me the full dimensions of this beast when displayed (landing gear down, wings folded) ?
Thanks!
Geoff

No cracked canopies, except for the one I cracked on accident. Whoops. The quality on each one was pretty good.... except for one of the #28s. The right horizontal stabilizer snapped off when I was putting it on and it had this weird white paint smudging near the exhaust area. But the other #28 I had was just fine.
