SBP Price Cuts.............

Post by Teamski » Fri Oct 15, 2004 7:00 pm

Small Blue Planet cut some prices on it's XD stuff. ZPA is $35, the FT P-40 is $34, each P47 is $45 and the figures are going for $6......... You can save a few bucks on other planes as well:

Add the free shipping on orders over $100 and you can save quite a bit....

New 21C Armor & Huey

Post by digger » Sun Oct 17, 2004 6:33 pm

Were on Pre-order at SBP (and are gone now?) and while they seem to have had the best price for the Sherman (41) they also might have the worst price for the Panther (mid 50s). I would like to just place one order, hopefully when they come back up they come down a bit on the Panther. Either way I need to make room....

Btw, anyone have the new Blackhawk? It says 2 machine guns; where are they? Thanks.

If it weren't for them charging tax, and sorta spiking shipping, the $6 figures would be a godsend... I wanted the one plane, and ordered a BotB set of figures (the large set with Patton's), and some extra idnividual figures... It really worked out.

They really REALLY should try and make ordering a big box of figures cheaper than doing it individually though. When broken down, that set of 10 figures is no less than ordering things one at a time. :( Little more effort to make ordering in bulk cheaper would be nice... Fortunately, my order was over $100 so I got the free shipping, but I could see putting in a large order and NOT breaking $100 if all I was after was figures. They should try making figures economical to order in more bulk then... Just my marketing perspective working overtime I guess.

The tip was appreciated though Ski, because I was really anxious to get some cheap(er) BotB rather than paying $7+ for a figure. no individual open-coat Germans left, but I got some closed-coats (more common looking anyway) and tankers... I'd buy those and the U.S. rifleman, BAR Gunner, and tanker in their own army building case, and I'd buy them by the case multiple times... That'd be ideal.

Wonder what's up with them and those big "troop sets" they had at Toy Fair anyway? Hmmmm
