That's really great to hear Blaster!!!! we had BBI over here for all of a year i have been hoping that a european distributor would take up the brand!

What shop have you seen it in? Sounds like you got some stuff that hasn't yet (hopefully!!) made it to the UK like the WWII figs and the corsair great news though and glad you have found them :D

Hi blaster, you can already buy bbi in france at "jouet club".

but only the ones you are talking about and the Apache I bought 5 month ago was really expensive (more than 70 euros if I remember..) close to the price you can get it online in the USA (shippment to france included).

As a side note I noticed arrival of bbi 1/6 in "carrefour"... maybe one day they will have also the 1/18 line at a more "Walmart like price"...

Congrats! With the WWII guys and the Corsair, you have newest retail stuff save the modern figs. You're actually doing better than us as the WWII are basically long gone in stores stateside.

I've heard that some of the board members are prepared to smuggle the Nazi figures to you inside tanks.

i've found them in Jouéclub, i was told it was there for something like 6 monthes but it's the 1st time i saw them personally and they're even in the early xmas catalog !

the apache is way too expensive to for my wallet : 80 euros is not the kind of cash i can spare for a toy considering i'm going to NYC in december

the MH6 is "only" 30 euros so i may be tempted if i find it in store (i'm sad i don't work close to a jouéclub anymore :(

i was really hesitating for a BBI Corsair (i do prefer the F 4U4 ) i am going to check ! do you know their listed price ?
anyway it's a good news because even on ebay the posting costs were almost doubling the prices ! 8)

Yeah I saw them too in this christmas catalog :)

But you're right...it's magic to see them in real at a french toy store...it's so rare....and a real pain to left them on shelves: kind of lost children feeling
hey thank you to remember me I'm addicted ;)

But I think not every "joué club" (you're right not "jouet") got everything you list. The one next to me only have 10 ranger bike for months, but I saw others having the complete list on shelves (one in Vannes Bretagne for example).

anyway, prepare a big empty bag for your NY trip, and good wallmart, TRU and KBtoys hunting ;)
