Just got a "Samantha Peyton" P-38 (assembled, no box, and damaged front landing gear repaired) off ebay for a bid of $31.50. I don't keep boxes anyway and I normally hang my planes from the ceiling (only space left for that size plane) with landing gear up so the repaired gear was not an issue. Its being shipped less than 200 miles so as long as it doesn't get busted up in shipping, I am one happy camper.

$31.50 for an XD P-38, especially one of the rarer versions, is an especially good deal! I wonder what ever happened to the one that used to hang above the military toy section at my local TRU?

Wow, $31. I paid twice that for mine when it first came out. You definately got a good deal.

You want a good deal? I just got a BBI F-18 in perfect shape for $50, counting the shipping
I hadn't picked up that plane yet, and I really like it!
