Replacement parts wish list
I made a replacement barrel for the BBI Sherman and it worked out pretty well. That got me thinking that there might be other commonly broken or lost parts for other 1:18 items I might be able to make.
Is there anything you wish you had a replacement or extras of and wouldn't mind of they weren't OEM parts?

Kubel's windshield and rearview mirrors.
One piece that is prone to break easily is the canvas top of that Willys Jeep, think the brand is Solido
May be that Indy' s Horch troop transport could use doors and some other stuff to make it look less toyish

Re: Replacement parts wish list
I always need mounting hardware and the too machine gun for tiger tanks. I think I have 3 1:18th tigers missing the gun and mounting hold.

Re: Replacement parts wish list
Ok, I made the Kubel parts and the MG42 + Mount for the 21C Tiger.
Questions:
If I make the Kubel windshield from clear resin, you'd have to paint the non-glass parts. If I made it from standard resin, you would have to attach a clear peice of plastic after painting to add the glass. Which option sounds better?
For the MG42 Tiger mount, I recreated the mounting bracket as it came with the original tank. But, this the 21st Century one isn't historically accurate is it? I'm thinking that I can leave the clip part alone, but make the brackets more accurate. Is that of interest and were they the same throughout the war or were there early/late war mounting brackets that were different?

Re: Replacement parts wish list
I've recently received your air filters for an early version of the Tiger I. That got
me thinking, what about road wheels for the Forces of Valor 1:18 Tiger I. For
some reason they omitted them while still using the wide battle tracks.
FOV's Tiger
.
Tiger I
Another thought was road wheel hubs for the 21st Century Panzer IV. the RC versions and
the Euro Exclusive Panzers are lacking therm.

Re: Replacement parts wish list
I agree with normandy. Road wheel hubs for the 21st Century Panzer IV would be great. All my Projects (Brummbär, Stug and Jagdpanzer) did not have those hubs

Re: Replacement parts wish list
Hey Grunt ,
I got your set of feiffel air cleaners and duck bills the other day .
I have not used them yet but they look great !
What are the chances of you making the FULL SET for the feiffel system ?
The connections and tubes ?
I love the panzer hub caps and will be getting SEVERAL sets of those along with the extra Tiger wheels .
I have looked at your web page and there are no prices on these new items .
Have you figured out a price for them yet ?
GREAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Replacement parts wish list
Grunt I just noticed the new additions from the wish list.
I like the part about the Tiger I road wheels... "The wheels snap into place and can be permanent with a bit of CA glue."
I also like the price!!

Re: Replacement parts wish list

Re: Replacement parts wish list
Does anyone know if Pizza Guy is still making replacement hinges for 21st Century 1:18 scale Corsairs? I need at least 5 sets if anyone here knows of any.
Thanks

Re: Replacement parts wish list
Could use the end half of the gun barrel for the Forces of Valor/unimax 1:18 M1 abrams and M2 bradely.

Thanks, just ordered some. I'm unsure about the progression of the Mg mount. The 1:16th scale Forces of Valor Metal Tiger probably has a sufficient modelling representation. I can get a picture next time I'm at my dad's house as he has one.

Thank You for your answer.
I am looking for replacement hinges for 21st Century 1:18 scale Corsairs. I saw some on eBay awhile ago, made by someone, but can’t locate them.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Replacement parts wish list
Need a top hatch for a tiger 21st century. Also need the two hatch covers for the Sherman 21st century.
The little wire cutters on the 21st century tiger also come off a lot, I'd need 3 of those.

Hey Grunt,
I see you make the Mg-42 with mount for the Tiger.
Can you make the same for the HANOMAG with it's mount and drum magazine ?

Re: Replacement parts wish list
FoV version of the MG42 mount. Note that the FOV mount is slightly tighter than the 21C mount so they are _not_ interchangeble. For those of you that already ordered some, I marked 21C or FOV on the underside of the mounting bracket.
Kar98k with a sling (Thanks to Eddy for requesting this)
Final version of the Panzer IV MG34 Gurtsack (Eddy, thanks again)
Replacement barrel for the BBI Elite Force Sherman. (It replaces the original barrel if it was lost. Again thanks Razor for this request)
251 version of the MG42. The Gurttrommel 34 (ammo drum) is removable and has more detail so this is a bit of an upgrade over the original 21C version. (Thank you Pickel)

Thank you guys for the positive comments and suggestions.
Two of these door panels will convert an Indiana Jones troop car into a German PKW. I plan to include a front and rear Notek light set with the kit.

This is a good thing for those that have one of these vehicles. Now I have to go find one!
