18th hellcat- slight wing sagging issue?

Post by mikeg » Sat Nov 05, 2016 5:41 pm

I haven't really looked at them in..like..forever, but I noticed the issue tonight. I had to look at the old build sheet to remember how to remove the wings, easy, just pull straight out. I guess if you've ever folded them, the white plastic support can ease out just a wee bit. I just put 2 part epoxy around the end of the white support, pushed it all the way in and let it set.

well, it needs some more help, I'm gonna dab a little epoxy on the upper wing surfaces

How did this work out ? I don't own a Hellcat so I was waiting for other members who have them to reply.

Well umm... there really isn't much of a difference at all- good or bad

I glued the catmouth wings, the difference is probably not really worth the effort

The BBI Hellcat's wings still have more dihedral than the 21c Avenger, even when unmodified.
