E-Bay Weirdness of the Month...KDW 1/18 Jeep

Post by c44 » Wed Jun 10, 2015 6:46 pm

Anybody seen these before:

At first I thought it was a repackaged Welly, but there seems to be some slight differences...

I'll probably pass, it looks a little clunky, and the vendor's disclaimer that "Some small part such as wheel may be fall down during Transportation . This is Not Damage. It can be assembled by using glue." does not inspire confidence...

But worst of all, who dreamed up the "Militarist" markings? (We need a facepalm smiley)...

See also Humvee from same manufacturer:

That is pretty interesting/funny. Seems a little research would have gone a long way.

Militarist is probably the direct translation for the Chinese word for "army"

Well, next time they should ask someone who is fluent in English instead of using the gibberish-like results from Google Translate... :D
