I'm guessing not, but just in case I've missed something....

I haven't been in target since they stopped selling the FOV German and US figures and armor.

Its be a couple months since I went either into a Toys R Us or Wal Mart and I rarely go into the toy aisle at Target anymore... Unless you're into Star Wars or GI Joe, there's really not much that would appeal to our sort of crowd at the big box retailers... Star Wars has seemed largely unexciting to me (save for some of the 6" figures) and the new GI Joe line is basically crap... TRU has all the Chap Mei stuff, which has really branched out into a number of other sublines from the True Heroes Military, but its all too toyish for my tastes...
All that isn't to say I've not been collecting or finding items at retail. PTE is out at Big Lots and its fun to see those items on the shelves. Takes me back to something akin to the "old days" of standing in a store trying to decide which military toy to get. Quite a bit going on in the small scale world still, with some new FOV releases and there are the JSI repaints out with the small retailers and online stores.
Again, not like the old days, but certainly still a bit out there to collect

Does anyone still go to brick and mortar stores for our toys?
I still buy but from etailers, other collectors or from eBay. Just bought a 1/18 Servi-car from eBay.
The stuff is out there, not as frequently as the "old days" but my fingers still find them.

In terms of collecting, do 1:1 items count? Over the past year, I've been on a bit of a firearms and ammo binge. For years, I had toy M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, and modern M4 Carbines, but then decided to get the real things - at least while they are still legal. An actual M1 Garand is somehow far more impressive than the tiny 1:18 scale one my 21c WWII US Infantryman carries

I don't know if this is new, but I was in a toys r us today and saw this.....
It was $40.00, without getting a good look at it I passed. Maybe if it goes on sale I'll see what can be done
with it. I'd have no use for those figures.
This might be a possibility.....

Thank you for sharing that, normandy. Not enough for me to venture to TRU, but at least it's something.
