News from Philippe aka exether_mega

Post by Crazy Kraut » Fri Apr 05, 2013 9:36 am

Hello all,
Phil´s father asked me to inform all his friends on this forum about his health.
Here is what he wrote to me:

Dear Sven,

my son's wife Marie asked me to contact you as she cannot login on the 1;18 forum where she usualy let some news on Philippe health.
So here ie the situation. Philippe has been operated on march 13th but it doesn't get very well and he had to stay on intencive care unit.To be sure to know how tumor was removed he had to do another MRI last week and it seems a small one has been detected very close to the optical chiasma. Doctor said it was so small that the big one was hidding it.
In this situation no more risk will be taken and Philippe will have another surgery on april 12th, almost a month after the last one. When done and after a good recovery he will have to do radiotherapy. After that it will be time to find a solution to his lack of hypophysis and we hope a better life for him and Marie.
My son is a strong boy full of will and I am sure he will win this battle once and for all.
If you have time please let all his friends known about his situation. And if you know his friend Matthews please ask him to contact Marie. She lost his email address.

Best regards from southern France.

Georges

MATTHEW: if you want to get in contact with Georges please let me know. I´ll tell you his email address.

regards and keep all thumbs pressed for exether!!!!!!!!

Hi guys,

here I am once more.
Recovering this time is far harder as before. Two operation in one month is enough for me.
So small parts from the smallest tumor remains and are unreachable by mechanical way. This mean I will start radiotherapy in late june. This also mean that my hypophysis will never work again. Marie and I are still in the darkness, looking for a ray of hope. So thank you so much to be there folks. Thank you for your prayers and support. It warm our hearts.
I still hope to be abble to get back to all my projects sometime this year. I am so sad to see my shermans and panzers project covered with dust :(
Now I have many threads to read. I hope to see some good news about forthcoming tanks and airplanes.
Marie and I would like to thank you all my dear friends. Merci à toi aussi philippe(Supersonicfifi).
Take care all.

Phil,
It's great to hear from You!
I wish You and Marie All the Best. Get well.

There is plenty to read about, Pickelhaube's King Tiger kits are almost ready, Grunt1 and Jay are both (independently) working on 3D printed kits and JSI/Merit are coming out with a Harrier and an FW-190.
Hope You feel better soon.....we need to see more of Your custom projects. :D
Take Care,
Normandy.
