Not sure how he did it but, what I do for all my 1/48th weapons is to drill tiny holes into the bomb where the bombs lugs would be. Then I super glue in small pieces of wire and drill matching holes into the MAU rack or TER, which ever the bomb will be hanging from. Carefully line up the wire, on the munition, to the hole and you can hang whatever you want. This way you can change the look of the jet with different munitions. No reason why you couldn't do this in 1/18th scale. Just don't go too big on the wire you use.

Instead of doing another A model version, they should release a proper D model with JDAMS IMO.

Can't second that enough Loader. I'd love to see a D as well and would definitely be a buyer. I've got both of the S1 and S2 'Cats so it's hard for me to get excited about a new paint job. That being said if this Sundowner becomes a reality I will probably break down and buy it too.

most people will its a hard habit to break it s a tomcat its big and bad . if it comes with seperate weapons that would mean mix and match? a d model to much money to recast or new mold not in 1/18 hate to say those days are gone. just like the a10 or a su its only a dream now. pickle does killer work but its hard to match the big box peoples price. i know i like to take it out of the box and go to display.

IF the next Cat is a VF-111 Sundowners you WILL NOT see seperate weapons, IMO. They flew A models which were all air to air and, that's what the S1 VF-84 came with.
I know a D model would mean doing some retooling but, I think people are looking for something different. How many repaints of the S1 do we really need ? I would certainly spend money for a new D version before another repaint.
