Wow . . .

... but that guy is either already rich or retired, because that's more than a full-time job ...

His name is Guillermo Rojas-Bazan and here is his website. This has been stored in my favorites for quite some time.

http://www.rojasbazan.com/MyStory.htm

Not sure if he was ever a dentist, but he has produced several masterpieces as shown on his site. If you google his name you can find more information on him and some good interviews like this one.

Take a look at his website, his work is truly amazing.

The " dentist " is a master modeler from Japan.

There are a few pics of his all metal all working parts Corsair flying around this forum.

Truly pieces of art.

The stuff I make would not make good shadows compared to this guys work.

Although I do not think anybody would cram a $3 figure into a $7,000 + masterpiece.

so my question is if it is all metal all the parts are cast from molds he makes? How does he hide the servos and electronics that make the flaps and all work? or does he make a micro hydraulic system?

Well if you pay attention in some ove the frames youll notice that everything is controlled from the cockpit but where he hides all the electronics is a BIG mystery to me too.....

As a former R/C flyer, I'm actually glad he doesn't try to make flying models. The number of youtube videos of gorgeous scale planes turning into heartbreaking clouds of balsa dust and cracked vacu-formed plastic is too great to make me wish these models could actually fly . . .

Hi, first post but thought I'd let you know that you can actually buy his models if you've got the coin - Fine Art Models sells them and has an interesting story about the builder. Matt
