I am sitting at home right now bored with plenty to do.

I saw this week long lull coming and was excited to start and try to get caught up on the Tiger project and other delinquent projects.

But ........

I dam near cut my thumb off last Saturday . I have 5 stiches in it and I can not hold anything.

I was trying to cut some bricks with my grinder . I hit a piece of angle iron and the grinder kicked back, running across my thumb fell down hit my right leg , bounced off of that one digging into my left leg and ended up on the floor chewing into the ladies tile.

Not a good day. It cut down into meat between the thumb and index finger. I finished the job and went home .

Wifey looked at the thumb the next day and said you probably will need stitches . Went to one of those urgent care places and she was right. Almost missed the deadline were stiches can not be done .

It cost me $550 for the tetnus shot and surgery.

I am not covered under my own workers comp.

But I found this old post and it could be fun to revisit the changes or the updates.

I have nocked a few off of the list as " DONE " !!!

I will try to go out in the studio and see if I can work on anything.

That or get caught up on my soaps.      :o

Sounds like something that happened to me a while back cutting pavers with a grinder. Hard lesson learned, ended up renting a saw actually used to cut bricks from Home Depot. Cut the work time by three quarters and saved on bandages. Like my dad always told me, "use the right tool for the right job." I should have listened to him....... :?
