Have to recover from dislocating my middle finger of my right hand first, though.

For those who remember the shots of my armor collection I have my tanks arranged along a shelf. I've wanted to create backdrops, sort of like a semi-3D wallpaper, to pace on the wall behind the vehicles to simulate buildings and roadways rather than the plain painted drywall I have now.

I think the question here is what was your post all about? A 1/18 thread for the HO-229 isn't a place for 1/32 accessories...

E-mail returned .

Jackson is on his last printer. He said that he will be able to get 20 count of decal sets out for the Horten. The set consisting of top / bottom wing crosses, dual swastikas and instrument panel sheet.

So if we are all on the same page with the sizes , would we have a GO

Jackson,

Whenever you are ready push the button !!

The first 20 kits/builds will have the decal sheet in them.

I can see the confusion I caused now. I was kind of responding to the comments pizzaguy was making about creating stands for the 229 and it got me thinking about making stuff as well. Although I am a 1/32 guy, not 1/18, I enjoy seeing Pickel's work and I just blurted that out in a moment of excitement. I know not everyone here crosses scale lines but I think the back of my mind was assuming other 1/32 guys might be following this thread as I am.

Flyboy's buildings also got me inspired, so his comment coupled with pizzaguy's made me forget where I was and out it came.

I'll repost it in the appropriate area once I have something tangible to show. For now, attribute it to youthful exuberance - if you consider 47 youthful.

When I get one of those golden weekends where everything lines up right, I get three or four uninterrupted hours to focus on my model projects, and the work is flowing, I will sometimes feel a nagging pull from the few folks who have expressed interest in what I'm doing -- "I should take a break to capture some images and post them up on the forum," I think to myself ... Sometimes I do, but sometimes the little craftsman in me clucks his tongue and says, "Keep working. You can post pics when you only have a few minutes. Use this time more profitably ..."

I can imagine the craftsman in Matt's head isn't so little. He's probably a big, hulking Luftwaffe Staff Sergeant. He should listen to that guy ...

I've been holding my tongue, but am going to chime in now. Can we please keep this thread on the subject of pickelhaube's Ho-229?

Thanks.
