Hey Guys,
I have been commissioned to do a set of Panther side skirts. I was just going to do a " one of ".
Would anybody else be interested in a set ?
If so I would make a mould of the " one of "
The original will me made regardless.
Please if there is interest lets see a show of hands.
Thanks.

A while back (maybe 2 yrs. ago..??) one of our members was selling Panther skirt sets. I picked up a set that I custom painted and added to my S4 Panther, and I think they turned out pretty nice. If Pickel does some I think they will be every bit as nice, and it will be interesting to see what some of our many talented members can do with these. Bring em' on Spikehead....

Pickel, while the Panther skirts are a good idea, I think some improved Panzer IV skirts would be even better! I have a set made by another boardmember a few years ago, but could use a set with potentially more detail... Weren't you working on a set of those some time ago?

Re: Anybody want Panther side skirts ?
I have been asked by another board member if I would be interested in making a set of skirts for the M-48.
So I will piggy back the idea on my old Panther post.
Any interest in skirts for the M-48 ?
I think they are still available and as I recall do not bring a lot of money on the secondary market.

You know I'm in for a set of the Patton M-48 skirts. It gives you a variant of a real military workhorse.

Here is what one looks like if you are not familiar with the M-48A5 verison of the Patton Tank.

I guess it would help if I responded in the correct thread. I would be interested in both the M48A5K armor skirts and a mountable 105 for the M3.

I'm getting a little off topic.....but I'd like some extra road wheels (outer) for FOV's 1:18th Tiger I.

Re: Anybody want Panther / M-48 side skirts ?
interesting, i didn't realize the m48 ever had side skirts. I've often wished 21c had done an IDF sand coloured repaint of their m48; would be a cool model to have. I guess i could repaint one, but, i don't ever forsee having the gumpshun to do it.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...
Re: Anybody want Panther / M-48 side skirts ?
I'm hoping the skirts for the M-48 Patton tank takes off. I think a conversion for this tank is a long time coming especially since they are still available at a somewhat reasonable prices.

This is a sample of Panther Schurtzen I had laser cut a couple years ago, which some of you got. I also did some for the IV. I can have more cut if there is enough interest. $12 per set shipped.

Re: Anybody want M-48 side skirts ?
I made a set of skirts for the Panzer IV and Panther a while ago but did not make any copies.
Mine will have revit detail and hangers to make attachment easier. The front of the panzer skirts were pigeon towed in front as were the originals.
Mine will be made out of resin and will sell between $15-$20 with shipping additional.
The same for the M-48 skirts. The M-48 may be toward the higher scale do to the addional detail.
Any more interest ?

I'm still hoping for the M-48 Patton tank skirts. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

How much does this cost? I'm interested on this. Is it available now? I'll ask my wife about this.
