I like the kit idea for the Firefly but would like to see a gun travel lock included. The M4A4 was the most common Sherman Firefly and was known as the VC Firefly. The V , or Mark 5, was the Brotish designation for the M4A4 and the C was the designation for the 17 lb gun.

Hey Guys,

When you send payment via pay-pal please make sure that you give me your address.

Please e-mail me with your address [email protected]

I get a lot of PM's and after a while they get lost because there is limited capacity.

There are a couple of orders waiting to be sent but I can not because I have no addresses for them.

Thanks

The Stuart tracks are still MIA . But another set is on it's way. No worries.

The 109 , 109 wheels and Stuka wingtips are on their way.

The Hetzer shields and extra tubing are on their way.

The M4A1 and 2 side cars are on thier way.I also put the FOV rear deck change out in the box

The replacement sidecar wheels are on their way.

The Sherman wading trunks are on their way.

I got most of the dozer blade moulded and have made a few pours. I still need to make the rest of the moulds to try and get that project rolling.

I did not get the chance to mould the M-3 TD parts yet.

I got the MO for the painted HUMVEE turret in :D But that will have to wait till I get back from my sons collage registration trip.

The paint for the sidecar build STILL HAS NOT GOTTEN IN FROM THE SUPPLIER. When it does the build will be a priority.

I WILL START ON THE T-23 TURRET WHEN I GET BACK FROM CALI.

I am leaving Tues and will be back on the 3rd.

Thank you all for the support in these trying times.

PaulPratt, spoken like a true corporation who's only concern is revenue. Revenue streams,? really, ? All the people who produce kits and so on are parts to the puzzle in this hobby. It's a boldly inaccurate statement to say that any of these providers are hurting this hobby. Just my opinion though, right.? Show me what company has the ability now to crush these peoples revenue streams? No one is producing S#$%. Besides that the kits they are producing these companies don't even make. Because they don't want a revenue stream, they want a revenue flood. Keep up the enthusiasm for this hobby. It would be dead if not for these builders. PEAAAACCEEE...I'm out...

Matthew, I hope you are able to one day offer completed models...I have seen your work and greatly admire your skill & business philosophy as well. As I have no modeling skills (nor, at this stage in my life, any real desire to develop any), I am fine with paying a premium to get a completed model that someone with those skills has created.
The clipped wing Spitfire would be a must have for me, and I hope that if you do a completed version that I will be able to add one to my collection!

Well I never say never.

Who knows ? Like I said I am on a armor kick now and have a list of stuff that will be coming out.

BTW

I am back in town and need to get caught up on my real job. Thank goodness for that.As soon as I get caught up I will be back on all of these projects. I like to save the weekends for prototype making so I might just get started on that T-23 turret.

Then next week I will start back on the dozerz and M-3 TD.

 :D :D :D

This for all of you guys who by my stuff.

OK guys I need your advice and input.

I do my best to try and keep my quality of parts as best as I can. But sometime my pieces do have airbubbles. This is just part of the deal with resin parts.
Even Verlinden has air bubbles in their parts. They are on the top of aftermarket resin manufactorers.

Of all the parts kit I have from Verlinden they ALL come with HUGE POUR STUBS.

They put their pour stubs were they get the most resin flow. On the face or edge. On the tires they will make the pour stub on half of the tires !!!

The reason they do this is to get max flow of resin so that the airbubbles will rise to the top.

This is good for the modeler. But bad because now you have to reapair the finish surface or rescribe lines tire treads etc.

I try to make my pour stubs as small as possible and on the back of the piece. This is good for the modeler but you get more airbubbles by doing this.
Sometimes I can only put the pour stub on the face . At times there is no way to get around it.

So I will put this out to you guys who buy my stuff.

Would you guys prefer less airbubbles with huge pour stubs on the face of the parts ?

Or

More airbubbles with smaller out of the way pour stubs ?

Please let me know because I need to make a whole bunch of moulds for the dozer and M-3 comming up.

NOT TO MENTION THE T-34 THAT WILL HAVE CLOSE TO 200 PARTS FOR THE TRACKS AND WHEELS ALONE

Matthew, I'm a modeler and have worked with resign kits and figures for years. Air bubbles are part of the casting process, the fewer the better but they're going to be some...... :? that's why they make putty!
Do what makes it easiest for you when making your molds. I worked with a mold maker for almost two years, so I know what a pain it can be.
I haven't had any issues with any of the kits I've purchased from you!!!

I have had a few of the dozer blades made I just need to pack them up. Hopefully they will go out Friday.

I plan to work on the full build dozer blades this weekend.

The Humvee turret full build is done and should go out Friday.

I need to repaint the Indy bike for the 3rd time. The new paint was a bust WRONG COLOR

If I get the chance I will try to finish the T-23 ( put the bells and whistled on ) and maybe get started on the front glacias and larger hatch area canable job.

Again if I get the time.

I am hoping to get the M-3 moulds done for Monday.

Busy Busy Busy.

You guys who say that 1/18 scale is dead lean over here so I can smack you.

P. S.

As always . When ordering with paypal or money order PLEASE

1. Give me your FULL NAME AND ADDRESS.
2. Give me your board name.
3. PLEASE ,PLEASE , PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU ARE ORDERING.

Here is my e-mail so you guys can give me this info. I get quite a few e-mails and they get wiped out the more I get.

[email protected]

Maybe with this new format they wont. I have not been able to save any pms with the new format. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

That is all.

Thw last one was getting long in the tooth anyway.

The majority of Indy side cars should go out tomorrow.

The last of the Humvee turrets will go out tomorrow. You can still order them
The CIP will ship on Fri
The Sherman wading trunks ship out Fri.
The last of the M4A1 hulls will ship on Fri. You can still order these as well.
The last 2 M-10's are halfway poured and they should go out next week.
When I get the Indy sidecars and M-10s wrapped up I will start on my next full build.

Not sure about the last 2 posts. I was trying to change the heading and this happend.

OH WELL

Anyway.

The first run of dozer blades went out today.

Hopefully the next run will go out on Friday.

The black Me-109 shipped.

The full build Humvee turre went out today. The latest has yet to be done.

The Indy side car is almost done AGAIN .

It seems like more and more guys are starting to want me to do full builds. I am good with this.

The rule of thumb on this is double the price of the kit and I will do the build .

Either primer gray or your choice. DAK yello Panzer gray or OD green depending on nationality For WW2 stuff.

As far as the modern stuff I have been matching the HUMVEE turrets to the 21st HUMVEE

I have been painting my Pavehawk parts black or gray or dark OD green for the Backhawk.

I am thinking of doing the camo version for the Pavehawk. That is , matching the dark green for an addtional cost on top of the fully painted one I am offering now.

Let me know if there is interst in this.

I will paint the Wirbelwind, flak gun , 222 and all of the other countless builds I have done.

BE ADVISED ,

IF I DO THE FULLY PAINTED VERSIONS ADD AT LEAST 2 MORE WEEKS ONTO YOU CUSTOM PROJECT.

That is all.
