I love the "weathering" technique - dust, dust, then more dust.
Great collection by the way!

Isn't that the Lost Ark of the Covenant in your attic, Matthew?

Quite an accumulation... :D

Great Stuart custom. What did you do with the rest of that Stuart, you making something neat like a High Speed Tractor?

Anybody making customs can be excused from hoarding dust magnets.

Agreed. All the backstock can be considered as potential custom material and I'm sure he has limited room, because of Mrs. Spike. :)

pickelhaube- I think you are a horder. You have so much that you can't really display it all. You got it bad

If those were guns, the ATF would be involved. On a bright side if something should ever happen to you, your family could fully support itself for years by selling your collection :)

...and yet, I'm jealous!

PICKELHAUBE:

I have four questions:

1. Do you realize your model storage violates the fire codes of 49 states? (South Carolina doesn't have a fire code because no one in the state knows how to spell "code").
2. Do your neighbors forbid their children from visiting their "strange" neighbor?
3. Is it true you have 100 copies of DEAL OF THE CENTURY starring Chevy Chase and Sigourney Weaver on dvd, Laserdisc, VHS and Beta in storage, too?
4. Is it true you are the one supplying all the 21st Century models for Monkeydepot's Blammo Sale?

Yikes !!!

I have added to the pile since these pics . Another case of P-40s a case and a half of Panthers and another 88.

Oh ... and a couple more sdkfz 251s and more Shermans gots to have more Shermans.

I think maybe some day I will go up into the attic and take inventory. When I go up into the attic I always see something that I forgot that I had .

Anyone else give or take a few here, and I would raise an eyebrow, but we know a lot of it's custom fodder :)

Can't wait to see all those P-40B's turned into E's and such and so forth and so on... 8)

I think it may be time to start thinning out the herd.

Maybe next week I will start selling some of my stuff off.

Having 2 of each is a good thing. Having 15 may be a bit much in other parts of the country.

Gone are the hay days of $39.94 marked down to $15 and $8.

There were a bunch of Battle of the B Shermans for sale at my local Wally marked down to $8 . Boy I wished I would have got all of them.

Post by HIDEOUS ONE » Fri Jun 11, 2010 2:29 pm

Wierd, I am more figures and vehicles but one of the three planes I own "was" a snake stuka. That's the only one any stores carried was the snake stuka.
