that's a smaller scale model. I can see silvering around some of the decals.

How many of these do they plan on selling? 50 or so? Cause that's about all they're gonna sell.

AFERGUSON:

That's not decal silvering---it's really spots that were painted over.

I do not want this, but nevertheless, think its an interesting paint scheme and that it actually looks good.

Why don't we have everyone donate a dollar here? We buy the Iranian JSI Cat, have a raffle and the winner then gets to destroy it with a baseball bat, or blow it up with M80's? Put it on YouTube so everyone can see of course.

It would be like the teenagers destroying that newly purchased IPad

I kid

I wish that they would just replace the Spotcats that we bought with this version. I'd be happy to have ANY clean and accurate scheme regardless of the nationality.

If you look at the second picture from the top, you can see the main landing gear is about to break... :(

If that depicts an actual plane that, through some miracle, still actually manages to get off the ground, there's a decent chance it will be a greasy, smoking pile of twisted metal some time in the next year or so ...

Sabrefan, you're right on! That looks like the same old "knock-kneed" gear as before and leads me to believe this is actually a 1/18 model...Who else would make that gear on purpose?
That being said, I actually like the paint scheme, but probably wouldn't buy it even if they ever did produce it...Yes, I am a 1/18 scale "addict", but even us addicts have a limit on what we can spend and what we spend it on...I do love my two F14's, warts and all, but I'm ready for something else like an F15!!!

I can see the decals too well - not very professional job whoever repainted it - I should say the paint looks good but they ruined it with the poor decal work.

Talk about mis-management! And totally dis-connected from their customer base. Did JSI not get the message? The first F-14 had everybody screaming murder and the second is a dubious paint scheme from a current terrorist nation.

You think JSI had to pay for the rights? So any Iranian scheme bought sends money back to crazy ackmed.

oh, short post...no thanks

I still see spots......
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

The seperate ejection seat is fitting for this model.

The paint scheme is cool, but the decal work not so great. Is this a series they are going to produce.

After the Jolly Rogers fiasco,I don't believe any JSI pre-production photos.

And an Iranian F-14 as the second release?

Israeli F-15,and Chinese Su27?

I don't believe JSI has ANY idea of what they are doing in the 1/18 market.

Just some factory "cranking out" pretty decent models, with terrible paint schemes.

Obviously, not run by anyone who knows what collectors want.

I haven't bought any of their products, and at this rate,I don't plan on.

Sheer incompetance, from a company that had such promise.
