ULTIMATE SOLDIER TIGER 1 GREY

Post by rocky100370 » Wed Jan 13, 2010 9:51 am

I was wondering if someone could post some close up pics of this. Im thinking of painting my eastern camo tank to grey.

Why not find a grey Tiger?
The eastern paint scheme is hard to find.

Again, just look for the gray Tiger and do not repaint the cammo one. They always seem cheaper on ebay than the cammo ones.

I don't have a closeup picture of mine at the moment, but I will say that it does have some nice subtle mud/rust weathering in spots and 21c did a good job giving it a worn and used look, better in some ways than on the S2 cammo version. Some of the accessories on the tank hull are also nicely painted on the S1 version and the hatches have the off-white underside when opened.

I concur.

Was there something particular on the gray Tiger you wanted a pic of?

Or trade for a Grey. I think I have a extra grey if you want to swap.

swapping

Post by rocky100370 » Wed Jan 13, 2010 4:29 pm

I would just buy another one but I have no room for it. I might swap for a grey however I have removed the tow cables (was going to order custom ones) and have removed the antennas and replaced with real wire and a flag. I would like a pic of the whole tank. Nothing specific.

Were the grey tanks the first that fought in Europe?

All German tanks before a certain date (someone will step in and let us know) came from the factory gray.

It really doesn't matter, though, as 21st's Tiger is a frankentank with features from all stages of the Tiger's production life.
