that boat is kind of an odd thing to make....sorta bland but could have it's uses i suppose.

Looks like they're making an underscale J10 as well. Heavy chinese armed forces focus going on with them. I hope they make an SA-2 some day.

I like that boat a lot. It's weird, but not something I'm thinking we'll see for some reason. Not in the US anyway.

This boat has potential for repaint,

WW2 pacific theatre shore/river raiding party or the river assault scene from A Bridge Too Far?

maybe even for a couple of Joes going on a fishing R&R

with some modification, I could make that boat into a perfect 1:18 scale version of my grandfather's fishing boat :P

Guess I'll have to get the PTE Chinese tank, since the diecast one is so pricey.

I'm also thinking about the PTE helicopter (the recent one called Rocket Attack Helicopter, if I recall correctly). To those who have it, is it worth getting , or is it too toyish?

I went to a couple of Big Lots today. Both had LOTS of PTE before Christmas. Both have NOTHING!!! The one had probably 30 of thos RAHelicopters and ALL are GONE!! PTE seems to be a good seller for them! Only problem is that PTE doesn't get restocked til late summer/early autumn...sigh....

None of the Big Lots around here had the RAH before Christmas. so I haven't had a chance to see one in-person. How does it look to you?

I concur with the previous several posts about the current PTE availability - absolutely none left at my local BL stores!

In the November-December timeframe, three stores in my area had piles of 10-15 of the new Helicopters, AFV, bombed building, F-18s and similar amounts of older items such as M1s, watchtowers, Hummers, RIBs, and even a few littlebirds. This does not even count the figure packs and 1:6 soldiers. There was nothing in the same stores two weeks ago, save for a lone package with the horse & rider at one.

The same stores did not clear out their stock of PTE that quickly last year and in the years before that. I have my doubts that everything was bought up by all the collectors or regular shoppers, but then who knows. There could be a BL store policy to send the unsold items back to make way for new things, they could have had a huge discount, or really anything. In any event, I find it really odd that the PTE items are gone so completely.

Not that I'm worried, however, as I got everything I wanted this year from PTE

My local Big Lots has not a single PTE item. They had tons of stuff back in the fall, then they slimmed down the selection drastically right before Christmas and now there is nothing.

Actually found one lonely Aerial Rocket Helicopter at the Big Lots closest to my work place yesterday. Somehow it ended up back at my house (don't worry, I paid for it).
