Well I'll tell you, a few years ago an F-14 was definitely NOTmy first choice for a 1/18 bird. It didn't even make my list of an item I wanted produced. But the more I've seen it in photos the more I like it. So perhaps just the uniqueness of these massive jets will create a wave of buyers who are not necessarily collectors on a whole.

Now as far as the F-4 is concerned, I'd love one as well, Revell had a kit out a while back of an F-4E in the SouthEast Asia Camo Scheme with the name "Hey Jude" on the side. I'd love to have that for a USAF Scheme and either "Showtime 100" or the "Sundowners". I've always liked the flashy paint schemes of the navy.

Here's an F-4 scheme that will probably be one of the most popular for an Air Force version:
It's a must. The Vietnam War didn't field as many aces as previous wars, and their mounts are important.

I think Duke Cunningham's Phantom that was used when becoming an ace is a must also, despite the legal trouble he got into a few years back. Not to mention the VF-96 CAG bird he flew looked bad ass to begin with(though I could do without the colorful stars)
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

F4 PHANTOM

It would be a hard choice between the AIR FORCE or NAVY scheme ... so i will take both !

For the navy the VF 103 could be cool with the incoming TOMCAT but there is a lot of colorfull paint for this beast !

Concerning the A10 i want one too so either first is good for me !

Both model were produced in prototype form, the A10 for many years now and the Phantom for 2 years ... so the A10 must go first !

so if JSI is all right : an F14 + F15 + Su 27 = one footballfield display
+ wishlist in the near futur : A10 + 2 X F4phantom = 2 football field display

i wonder where to put thoses planes in my appartement ?
1/18 mirage 2000 & RAFALE should i say more ?

Soccer field of American football?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!
