Good news.
If you are going to do a diorama. :?
I will have a tough enough time just displaying the plane.
I don't think that they will sell too many of these.
I like, and appreciate the idea, but not much of a market for these,in my opinion.

I would rather JSI concentrate their efforts into making the F-15,and Su27 a reality.

Oh, great news.

"My sources tell me pilots for the F-14 are in development and should be here Q1."

Wells, I'll have to wait until then to order mine. Not going to incur in silly additional shipping & handling costs unless I have to.

OTOH, you'll be glad to know that Bad Cat has eased restrictions on shipping to Spain: Spain Out of the Bad Cat Dog House.

See, I don't live in a banana republic anymore. (Tongue firmly in cheek, everyone knows it's a banana constitutional monarchy!) :P

How cool is that.. 8) And the even better news is that whether it's JSI and/or Merit and/or BBI that they can design and sculpt new figures that at least from the photos look pretty good.

Very Cool! Well it had to happen... You're going to make big jets (1:18) your going to need ground crew!
We know 21st did have plans for a Corsair ground crew... but, uh stuff happened.
TKO had some insight into what was to come.......Aircraft, Armor and figures.
I hope JSI listens to modelers and collectors and doesn't go off in one direction leaving the rest behind. Modern is great but WWII sells.

Those look pretty cool. I must say there are a good number of post WWII planes that would be great in 1:18. A-7, A-8, A-10. It would be cool to see SEPECAT Jaguar, Mig 29, Mirage. Just to name a few.

I am still on the fence with the F-14.

These do nothing for me.
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller

ah c'mon, pH. Can't you imagine yourself down on the floor, pretending it's the deck of a nuclear carrier with your Tomcat and these accessories all around it....you could make jet whooshing sounds..

or pretend your F-14 is coming in for a landing with one of these figures guiding him.

1/18 bliss.

Nope.......If he gives in he might have to build a full sized flight deck....LOL which will result into a full sized hull and tower

I'm down for these as long as you can buy at least some of the pieces separately rather than one big box. I don't think I can find space for the flightdeck bit... Though I must admit it'd be a neat way to display the Avenger I have.

I'm down for the figures though for sure. Simply count me in. Probably the equipment too.

As far as I'm concerned they're as cool as modern infantry figures. My nephew's currently a greenshirt I believe. If I have my Navy jobs straight in my head.

Very cool! I would be down for them as well. My F-14 will be on my display table (at least as I currently envision it) so it will be neat to have the ground crew to go with it.

Modern aircraft carrier ground crew & support equipment.

This is going to be cool.

I hope they make it.

I am in for several sets.

:D
One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!
