Thanks again guys it meens a lot to me.

Well I just spent about 12-14 hrs so far this weekend on the 222 and this is what I have to show. Man this projects has a lot of parts. I will have to make every thing on it.

I want to cheat and use 21st's Hanomag hinges on the back of the vehical. They are over sized but I figure that it will save me about 3-5 hrs worth of work.

Any feelings on this ?

Here is the side door with armored hinges .

Rear deck.

Image

Armored vison blocks. I re made the ones on the turret as well they were a little rough. These alone took about 4 hrs to do. There are 4 different sizes .

Image

Gas / smoke bottle that goes on the front. There will be 6 of them in a rack. I will cast this one and when I have enough I will cast them together as one unit.

Image

There is no doubt that I will have another full week to finish this master. That is the longest time ever that I will have spent on a master.

A total of 3 weeks. :?

He could just hire some illegal immigrants, pay them $5 a day... :P

Awesome work, the PH. I think this will turn out to be a fantastic vehicle. Even if the detail/functionality is like the 32x SDK 222, it will be an amazing 1:18 vehicle. The detail on the gun alone is awesome!

Holy .... Pickel this custom of yours is looking Fantastic! I appreciate the time and effort you've put into this project thus far.
I know the next part (the mold making) will be more work and more $$$$$$$$$.

I would hope those in the Industry (21st, BBI, FOV, Admiral or JSI) might take notice....... Someone (Pickel) asked, what do you want? members voted and in this case the 222 won! and He's making it. And He's made many other great custom kits!

Matthew, what are you going to call your company?

I have already changed my ebay name to Pickelhaube customs.

Too bad I have not sold anything yet.

But I am getting set up to do so.

I think that this thing is turning out great if I say so myself.

It is a cool looking vehical. I hope to do it justice.

I just wish I can put a few solid days on it. By life interjects. :?

I think it is time for you and the HUN to team up. Form PickleHun toys and churn out the best WW2 1/18 vehicles ever made.

Thanks guys

This project sure has a bunch of details. I think that I need about 3-4 more full days and this thing will be a wrap.

Then it will be RTV time.
