Maybe its just MD using some PC "sleight-of-hand" to keep us talking about them.

Now it's available . . . now it's not.

Now they're $9.95 . . . . now they're $29.95 . . . no, wait . . . make that $40 something.

The Bunker Hill Avenger doesn't seem so bad at $89. When the Atlantic version showed up at Walmart it was $79. Ten more for a more desirable scheme sounds good to me. If I wasn't broke right now I would buy one.

I sure would like to know what accounts for the pattern of what they offer. For the things that only go up briefly, I'm thinking they must be selling from private collections.

Monkey has the Soviet version Mig-15 up. Best one in my opinion. If you don't have one, I highly recommend it.

I'm fence sitting ... while $60 is fair, the fact that I can get 4 Chinese MiGs (which I love that paint job) for the same price makes it harder to swallow.

(Do I need 4 more Chinese MiGs ... probably not.) :)

The Chinese Mig is my favorite scheme also, I just can't believe these things are still sitting around!!

The Chinese Mig is an interesting scheme. I thought it was too garish and thought it was my least favorite of the Migs... That is why I got rid of my first one, only to get another when I found one at TRU

The Mig-15 and F-86 are some of 21c's best efforts. Great aircraft choices, wonderfully detailed, lots of functionality, sturdy construction and few QC problems. I only wish the Avenger and ME-262As could have been as good on those terms.

That's odd, it's the most tactically-themed one of the bunch. Sure, 21st didn't pull it off the best, but anyone saying it's "garish" doesn't know what the hell they're talking about.

Post war racing Corsairs were garish, Soviet acrobatic MiG-15s were garish, Tiger Meet F-104s are garish (and lame), Chinese tiger stripes aren't.

Today was payday, so I picked up the North Korean MiG and 4 PAK-40s.

There are still great deals on things that are actually worth having dupes!

Sunday my brother and I were debating the Russian MiG-15. I know I have 2 Chinese MiGs and he has at least one (I can't help him inventory what he actually has without my sister-in-law finding out what we've stashed at his place). ;) Me, I'm leaning towards buying the 4-pack if it survives to August (the next paycheck).

I never got a 21c F-86 and only have Admiral's CL-13 (which I love and really, really still want the Hartmann or Temptation).

How does Admiral's F-86 compare to 21c's? (Please tell me that the CL-13 is perfect and I'm missing nothing.) ;)

I think the 21C F-86 is way better than the AT version. I'm sure there's a comparison thread you can search out (and I'm too lazy to write up my own point by point comparison....).

In my opinion the 21c version is far superior in detail and over all finish. I had the AT version and just felt like it was still too toyish. They have come a long way since then with their 262 but being their first offering, I felt it had lots of room for improvement.

Monkey Depot had the SS two-packs for $9.00. I had three in my cart, but they got sold-out before I could complete the check-out
