According to one of my local Walmart Toy managers, she is still exspectiing more XD figs to arrive, at $1.00 a pop. I'm sorry you guys had it so ruff, we had more than our fair share here in South FL.

One of the local Toy managers would even mark down the clearenced XD for me. I got my Motorworks Tiger I for $15.00, thanks to her. If I would have only gotten into XD sooner, there would have been a lot more deals to be had.

The $1 XD figures are still showing up. I bought 10 more last night. They also put out some DAK figures this time. I got all the ETO figures but I had to leave 10 DAK figures on the shelf as I was running a bit short of cash. If they're still there next week I'll probably pick them up then. Keep checking your WM's guys.

I picked up another case this morning, of the last wave of D-Day figs, still a $1 ea. I wonder why Monkey Depot never got these in.

They're still showing up here as well. I've bought 27 figures over the past few days. These are being found in a store that never had these particular figures when they were initially released. I'm not sure of the exact number but I've probably picked up about 60 figures since they went on sale for $1.

This is why the thread is as important as ever - still some great finds happening. Not sure what the rush to cut this loose was.

I was thinking the same thing. I suspect that more people are finding these than are actually reporting their finds. For the most part it's only figures being found but at $1 each there are some significant deals to be had. Not including tax I paid $27 for about $135 worth of figures (at the old retail price). BTW for those interested in checking their WM's it doesn't hurt to track down a store employee in the toy department and ask when they restock toys. You might even be able to find out by making a phone call. Around here restocks generally take place on Friday nights or early Saturday mornings. I've generally had my best finds on Saturdays or Sundays before stuff gets wiped out. It wouldn't hurt to ask someone to check in the stock room but I haven't had any luck with that.

Wallyworld must have a small stock pile of those last 3 21st C figures.
Last night I saw that our local WM had "reloaded" again on the figures. I got all 9 of what they had. 3 each of the US sniper, the US MGer and German assualt gunner :) Now I got to find 9 new and unique heads to replace on these guys :?

Ahh, kduck. I just checked my map and see that you are waaaayyyy on the far side of Atlanta from me. I would've trekked on over but I can't justify the time spent or gas used.

What kind of non-DAK Germans have you been finding, if any?

Oh, and for anyone else in the Atlanta area:

Has anyone been to Hodge Army Navy Surplus on 507 Cobb Parkway (S. Marietta, GA‎ - (770) 427-9331‎)?

I was in there about 1½ years ago and they had a bunch of 1:18 for sale. Might be worth a look/call to see if they have anything left - I didn't get the feeling they keep up with the collectors' market so they may still be near-retail.
