Hey, their office is in SoCal! I wonder if JSI will get a B&M store deal eventually, or just stick with hobby/e-tailer only..?

Regarding the planes, anyone care that no figure is mentioned? (not a problem for me, a figure is a 'nice to have', not a 'must have').
If you look closely, there's a pilot onboard the cockpit of the P-38.

TINMAN:

You're right, I didn't see the removable MG-42...but Badcat didn't mention the commander figure.
21st had a commander figure and snorkel for the early M48 Pattons, but deleted them from the later M48s.

dragon,

Oh, I'll bet you're right and there's no figure. Not a big deal for me - I got plenty of German tankers back in the day - but if someone's just getting into 1:18 that could be a bummer.

This will have to be the biggest jet so far right? Bigger than a the BBI Hornet?

The Tomcat is 61' 9" long and the longest Hornet is 60' 1 1/4" long, but the Tomcat is as wide as it is long with wings spread out, so it will be huge!!!

I posted on the 1/18 F-14 thread that someone said it will be 42" long with a wingspan of 25"--42".

i remember reading before that the F-14 is made out of some kind of light weight plastic; which better be true or it will probably weigh close to double what the bbi F-18 weighs.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

Gosh that Tiger looks good - the weathering, the paint scheme, and all. It is similar to the S2 "Eastern Front" Tiger from 21c, only this looks much better. I've ordered the P-38, but do I really need another Tiger, especially when there is an F-14 due sometime?

I wonder if JSI will ever offer any pilot or crew figures with their airplanes and tanks. Wasn't Pappy Boyington's Lucybelle supposed to come with extra flight crew figues at one time? JD

Thanks guy.

Next question is if it's that big, it's got 2 engines, then how much bigger or smaller is it to a B-25 Mitchell Bomber? Is it pretty close in size?
