The previous thread on the 1/18 F-14 said it had a $300 pre-order price in Japan last year.

This new company is very ambitious  I really hope this appears eventually. The F-14 is my favorite modern jet, so potentially getting one in 1:18 would be a dream. It will cost a pretty penny, though...

Another website said the 1/18 F-14 is 42" long and has a variable wingspan of 25"-42".

Holy Good God!!!

Man, Mrs. NWarty is gonna be po'd

This week, I've been looking at Masa Narita's F-14D Bombcat and dreaming about building one in 1/32 scale. To have one in 1/18 scale, holy schnikies!

VMF115:

I don't know which website it was, but I Googled the new 1/18 F-14 and found another message board where they were already discussing it like we are on SSHQ. I haven't done the math to confirm the 42" length, etc, but apparently someone else did.

The $300 pre-order price in Japan was mentioned last year on SSHQ.

VMF115:

I only hope the production 1/18 F-14 is as good as the PR photo. The 1/18 F-14 in the toy show photos posted earlier on SSHQ showed a lack of detailing compared to BBI, and its paint scheme was the VF-154 "Black Knights", USS KITTY HAWK.

Mrs Exether_mega was happy to know that no more big planes were supposed to land in our house so I guess I will keep the F-14 previous landing Top Secret for the moment... :D
