Once upon a time, they were even a featured sponsor/advertiser on a TV series titled Flying Through Time. They are listed in the closing credits as "21st Century Models" [sic] in the "special thanks" section. The History Channel in Spain/Portugal re-runs the series every now and then. Funny, because it's an Aussie production:

I wonder what target audience they were trying to reach "down there" and whether this program was ever broadcast in the US, if indeed this is the same "21st Century Models."

Anyone remember this commercial. Takes a minute to load but worth the wait.

i remember way back when; GP's old board, a small but enthusiastic band of very excited collectors, full of hope. About 10 months after those items featured in the ad came out, the P-38, Corsair and Tiger I were released, but in Canada only. I remember finding them at TRU, out of the blue and reported it on GP's board, which was greeted with much skepticism, as i didn't have a camera to show pictures.
Anyway, several months later (well after Christmas) they appeared in the US along with the Stuka and both halftracks. That was quite a wave of goodies.

I found my packing slip from the White 12 I ordered from the Ultimate Soldier Fan Club...$29.99 plus $7.00 shipping. I have the packing slip, a flyer they sent with it and a 1/6 boonie hat that they sent with the fan club kit. I will try to get copies of these posted later today. I need to go work on my garden.....
HERE THEY ARE...BTW I JUST NOTICED THAT THE INVOICE IS NOT MINE, BUT THE IT IS THE ONE THAT CAME WITH MY 109 BECAUSE I KEPT ALL THE PAPERWORK IN A FILE. I WOULD ASSUME THAT JIM OAKUM GOT MY INVOICE. SURE GLAD THEY GOT THE ADDRESS CORRECT, FOR I LIVED IN ILLINOIS AT THAT TIME.

That's great stuff. Back when they were selling directly, I called to order some of the S1 figures. Arlene told me they had a few loose figures without accessories she would sell me for $3 each. When the package arrived it included two hand-painted salesmen samples. Good days.
Anyone remember Arlene? I still have her business card somewhere. Seems like 21st started going downhill after she left.....)

Irene was tremdous to me. I could not have done
all the track on my Firefly without her assistance.
Irene, Michael Cordero, and others, have always
been very kind, informative, and have helped
me out with any parts required or wanted, or
problems that I've had with a their products.
I want to express my thanks to them, and ...
also my regrets that 21st cannot make a
go of it right now.
Thank-you, 21st Century Toys for all you have done!
Here's hoping you will rise again in the future.
May as well thank:
BBI & Mike, and Admiral Toys and Jason, for
supporting 1/18 scale, as well!!!
I was also there in the very beginning and
have many fond memories and an excellent collection.
I don't have 21st's single pilot 262 and will be looking out for that.
Warmest regards,
HD
