When I started collecting the 1/18th airplanes, I always wanted the snake Stuka. Long OOP and selling on ebay for big bucks, I always got outbid. Then one day I snipped a winter Stuka. When it arrived I instantly fell in love with aircraft, even though I'm heavily into armor, and that being 1/16th R/C but I still got whatever I couldn't get in R/C in 1/18th.

Well, it started from there. The winter Stuka wasn't enough, I won a Flying Tigers P40, then the BOB Spit. A friend wanted to part with his grey Stuka, and then the Atlantic Avenger came out.

Then, the white number 7 262, the red tailed P-51, the Bunker Hill Corsair, the C-11 and then the Tiger Stripe F104.

My ceiling is full!! :P

The question was How Close?
Well, I believe I have all the armour but the European relase of the Panzer IV, Just never got a chance at bidding enough to bring it to my home.
I have almost all the 1:18 soldiers except the Viet Nam Series, didn't care much for them. As far as the aircraft, I am missing the European release of the FW-190, missing the D-Day Spit, and Calif. Lighting, Yellow 7 ME-262, I think that may be it? Maybe?????
My Garage downstairs looks like Toys 'R'Us use to look back in the day, floor to cieling. Doubles or triplets of some!
Does that mean I've got a probblem?
Hi, I'm memaddog, I'm an ADDICT!!!!
Wow!!!!
I said it!
Does that mean I'm on the right ROAD to Recovery from XD Addiction?????
Is there a 12 step program for this????
