BBI "Daisy June" is now available for $54.95. Wonder how that got into the 21st mix?

There are Dragon 1/18 scale US figures on MD!
3.95 each

Aviatornut was offering them for less than this- probably with cheaper shipping!

I checked MD again, just a short while after ordering the Dragon Americans and what do I see the danged Dragon Germans. So now I have got to order these but I wasn't able to select US 1st class for 2.50 like I was able to on the Americans. I added a pak40 and that took the Fedex shipping to 9.00 from 7.00 and change.

Average

On average, each of us is placing 1-2 Monkey orders a week. That place must be rolling in $$$ right now.

Bad Cat is having a pretty decent sale. Not as deep as MD, but looks like some reasonable prices.

Today, I received my 4 Petie's (that I bought with the intention of doing some "horse trading"). My idea worked, and I got what I think is a good deal from a local hobbie shop owner. See he has had these old airplanes sitting around his shop for a while, so I thought that I would approach him for a possible trade. I asked if he would consider trading any planes for a P-51. He replied with "I will trade the German one, but not the American". We confirmed our even up trade and I brought in the best packeged Petie that I received and got a new unopened Graf Sunburst 109G-6. It was at that point when a voice in my head told me not to leave without the American plane. He did have this one open on display in the back room of his shop (this room has no windows to let the sun fade the paint), and he still had the box. It is the Checker Tail P-47 hobbie shop version with the nose art. He had $69.00 marked on the box, I offered $60.00 since it was open, and he accepted. We both ended the day happy.

Here is what my MD deals lead me to..... and I still have 3 of my 4 Petie 2nds.

Funny that the Graff Bf-109Gs are considered so rare now... They sat around at my local Wal Marts three years ago and never went anywhwere. I even had one that I sold off when the newer Bf-109s came out.
