Post by 75th Ranger » Tue Jun 28, 2005 1:51 pm

Hello guys!
it is a happy day here in summer camp!
I just got my new F-104 Starfighter plane.
looks really amazing!
it has a new figure design too, better articulation and flight suit 60's.
the plane also come with a little history in the back of the box.
Also it has proper decals of a real F-104 squadron.

I will post moore info during the weekend since, reality call and i got to go to work...but i wanted to let you guys know that 21st is 100% behind their contest and it seem like the next product line is going to be a complete success!

take care,

Not just the plane, but I can't wait to see what the pilot looks like. Especially if they've improved the figure pack-ins.

Guys some more info

Post by 75th Ranger » Tue Jun 28, 2005 8:41 pm

Hello here is some more info the pics will have to wait til the weekend ( ok).
Well, as you all know I'm a figure fan therefore i will start with that review ( HAHAHA ).
So far the plane is still in the box til the weekend.
The figure head rotates left to right as usual.
new changes seem in the new shoulder articulation, above the elbow articulation, elbow articulation and wrist rotational articulation like in previous figures.
there is also wait 360 rotation and also a ' Y ' axis 90 degrees articulation for sittiting purposes like the prior figures. there is also knee articulation.
I will post more when i get the item out of the box.

in regauds to the plane I can tell you that the cockpit seems really detailed and the squadron name/motto is the "PROTECTORES LIBERATIS" .

The plane seems really big to compare or be bigger than the P-47 Donnie boy.
The model seems to also bring a crew service ladder to get into the plane that could be great for some base dioramas especially with the welding set from buildarama and a few crewmembers around.
well, that is all for now hope that it helps, i really wish i could share it with you guys but it is only one...next contest you guys let me know about the P-51..ok!

Where did you get it? Walmart? You are one lucky dog, dog! I have profiles of both the 479th FW and camo versions in the Profile Album, if you want to find out more about them. The schemes are 100% spot-on. Now I'm getting excited (even from over here).

There are good photos from CC coverage - but if you look at BCA's sie they have a close-up of the pilot in the cockpit and it is next level
The pilot is one of the coolest figures ever from what I saw of CC photos - new articulation (we know), folds in his flight suit, removable helmet, etc...
