What were the Bulldogs going for? I missed them but will keep looking. Couldn't resist the HUMVEE though - darn these shipping costs for so many separate shipments.

Exactamundo. I haven't sprung for a Patton yet, but had to have a Bulldog, having put one together from an old Renwal kit from the 60's or 70's. I'm not sure about the spelling on Renwal but they had some excellent kits, lots of moving parts etc.

I saw the Bulldog this morning, but I already have one.
That Patton tank is not too bad, did you know it's diecast?

Just ordered the Trailer w/Quad 50 cal. and the Halftrack w/Quad 50 cal. in brown and tan camo. (is this an African theatre scheme?)
I think it has much better paint job on it then the olive green one with mud splashes. It looks more realistic.

I didn't have either of these, so I'm happy. :D

I believe that is the Italian Theatre paint scheme.

Nice!
Anzio here we come!

Can't remember, but did 21st release any other 1:18 armor in these colors?

I seem to remember a Sherman just like it.
I hope I have that one somewhere.

They did the same with the one Huff I bought. They must have a horrible inventory system if they can still be in stock for 12 hours after I order mine yet mine gets canceled because they have none left.

The Huffs

Post by spitfire2021 » Wed Feb 18, 2009 5:52 pm

We ordered 5 of the Huffs from MD when they still listed 60 in inventory. Nevertheless, we were only sent 1 as they said they did not have anymore! Sounds like some other people had the same problem. :(

Is the Humvee solid metal? My FedEx tracking says the package weighs 7lbs! Can this be correct? The ME-262 NF says it's 7.4lbs. F-104 was 6.1lb. Very interesting.

I didn't think it was metal, but I could be wrong.

I will get it on Saturday. The weight just seems strange. My bbi humvee is lucky if it weighs 1lb. Maybe they messed up and I'm getting some of those missing humvees with mine.
