So far, of the things i've checked, the 88 is the cheapest thing to ship to my location.

Too bad there ain't a regular USPS option, but i reckon it wouldn't be cheaper than the FedEx Home.

I just ordered one. $44 shipped. I t was only 9.00 shipping Fed-ex, which seems reasonable to me for a large item that you're getting at an excellent price. I feel sorry for you over seas collectors. Don't know where I'll find the space to set it up but I had to have it even though I just lost my job.

I checked for shipping a 88 to Belgium but it will cost me more than the gun itself ! Sad :(

Yeah if I was overseas and already had one I probably wouldn't buy another unless I wanted to do a repaint. But, if I didn't have one, & wanted one, I'd rather pay $35 + high shipping than $80 or more + high shipping.

Phil....you'll probably find the shipping for two is the same as for one. It was to canada anyway. 2 is a good thing to have, in case we never see these again. You will easily be able to sell one in a year or two and recoup all the money you spent on both.

Are you sure shipping cost is the same for 2 pieces ?

MD has posted a FAQ on the Blammo sale that answers a lot of the questions on shipping and the fate of 21st.

As 7ROUNDS mentioned, this is from Monkeydepot on 21st Century:

"Is 21st Century Toys going out of business?:
We don''t have any inside information. None of the MD crew is on the 21st Century Board of Directors and we have not gotten any secret company memos. You know just as much as we do.

Will you be getting more of (insert item here)?:
We are going through our warehouse and finding all sorts of stuff. We are unable to tell when we will get more of or when we will add stuff to the website. Keep an eye on the site for current availability. "

pure nonsense. They may not know what's going on at 21c, but maybe they do and are sworn to silence, which is fine. And being sworn to silence is a good thing....it means 21c is folding up shop and heading for the hills...it means they are still playing politics and have the intention to be around in the months/years ahead.

But give me a break...we're supposed to believe in this cavernous warehouse of theirs they all of a sudden, oops, found another 200 88's, or 300 Panthers....lol. That's about $20G in wholesale cost merchandise they all of a sudden are finding. Rather careless inventory keeping, wouldn't you say? And how come they're not finding bbi 109's in there?

Phil...i have no idea if they shipping cost for you will be the same.....try it and find out.

Their first response to 21st has a tinge of annoyance on their part in it. Can't blame them, they've probably been hounded to death on the subject...

Thanks for posting about the "new found" stock of 21c 88mm guns. I ordered another as even with shipping, the price is still less than half what I paid for my first 88 in November. I think I'll keep the new one in the box for now, and repaint the one I already have in the standard Panzer gray color. Should be fun
