Thanks Hun,
The sale is winding down. It will continue till FRIDAY. After that, the price will be the full manufatorers retail price of: That is me.

$125

Everybody's order is being filled. I am working as fast as I can. I do not want to rush things because we all know what happens when that is done. The production phase was a little more laborious than I thought it would be. . There is about $8 worth of hardware and brass in each one . With about $12 worth of casting resin.

So if any other board members want one, now is the time to put your order in.

REMEMBER FRIDAY 11-28-08 IS THE LAST DAY TO CATCH THE SALE PRICE OF $85 . AFTER THAT THE PRICE WILL BE $125.
Thanks

Thanks to everybody who has ordered one ( or two :D )

I would like the full payment but a $25 deposit will lock you in. I already have a couple of guys on a layaway plan.

No pressure guys but now is the time if you want one at this reduced rate. I will take deposits or payments until this FRIDAY.

Thanks

cranedriver wrote:PH, I have waited comment until finished and it looks great. My question is there a chance that you would make these with a base for a stand alone AA battery. I think you can sell quite a few more and they would certainly mesh well with the new "88" right now.

Quick question on the stand alone AA battery...How where the transported? Completly disassembled or towed??
I will do a stand alone quad. But I am not sure of the trailer.
I had a deal about the Wirbel when I first started but nobody bit on it .

I WILL MAKE ANOTHER DEAL. IF ANYBODY SENDS ME A TAMIYA KIT OF THE STAND ALONE QUAD FLAK 38 AND A SINGLE FLAK 38 THEY WILL GET THE FIRST PRODUCTION STAND ALONE QUAD FLAK 38 FOR AN EVEN TRADE . Expect 2-3 weeks for turn over. This offer will be out there till next friday. Nov. 28. This is a hec of a deal. Both kits should sell NO MORE than $15 each.
Crane Driver will be the new owner of a 20 mm Quad 38 Flak gun !!!! Thanks for coming through Crane Driver. I need another week to get the Wirbels out. After that I will start the Stand alone Flack 38.

Remember today is BLACK FRIDAY FOR THE WIRBELWIND KIT.

I personally can't wait for the Flaks that I ordered to come :)
Then I will be doing a little project involving taking one and putting it on one of my little "mini" Famos I've been able to create. Nice thing about that one is I won't need to find those G scale battery boxes to build the back end  I've already started tearin' apart some indy vehicles to build the next lil' Famo. Now I have to get one more Hanomag on the choppin' block  Good thing about that is the rest of the Hano will become the second Dragon wagon and it will get the frame and wheels from a WC-63(?) that I got cheap :P Look for a Kool AA Famo sometime this winter ;)

OK guys here is the status on the Wirbelwind.
Believe it or not ALMOST EVERYBODY who said that they were going to get one DID !!!!!! Also I have a couple of guys want 2 and another guy who wants 3 !!! That means I have 20 to make.
I really thought that I could do 3 in a day but it is not working out that way. I am managing about 1 1/2 to 2 a day. I have been working on these things almost every day since they have been up for sale. Luckly I have had a few jobs to do at my real job. It is working out that my cost is $15 per turret.
The Woofer offerd to make a full custom Wirbelwind and put it on e-bay for me. This is kindness that goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Hopefully this will sell well . Looking back at things the guys on this forum came through with flying colors. But I think I went a little cheap on the $85 price but that probably is why everybody who said they wanted one got one. The Woofer also said that some of the guys who I sold of the Wirbels to are some of his best customers. I hope I did not shoot myself in the foot by doing this. Because they would have been some of the guys who would have bid on the custom wirbel. :?

I have 12 TOTALLY BUILT and ready to be shipped. These will go out to the guys first ordered first shipped. THEY WILL BE SHIPPED ON MONDAY. I have 2 turrets made with enough pieces for 3 other turrets. Hopefully I will have the rest made TO BE SHIPPED OUT ON FRIDAY.

I have primered the turrets a gray color. Some of them needed to be touched up so I decided to paint all of the turrets. This is one of the reasons why this project is taking more time to produce. I am doing my best working on them evey day to try and make it so everybody gets theres before Christmas.
Thanks Guys,
Matthew,
The guys who sent payment on or before Nov 27. will be the guys who will recieve the first 12. You guys on lay away are actualy taking some of the heat off of me . This is a good thing.
