Seriously, I'll hit a store up tomorrow before football practice and see what we've got here holensock... As always, I'll save the figures for you. I'm probably not going to go nutty like last year, but I do want more bunk sets, watch towers, and maybe some other stuff. I'll keep you updated.
Marauder Inc carries the Bunk Beds on his site. http://www.marauderinc.com/servlet/Cate ... 3&total=47 , and he also has a lot of other PTE stuff listed under the Diorama and also electronics sections of his site.

I don't believe anyone other than Big Lots or TRU carries PTE stuff anymore. You might try Evilbay. Also try looking under world peacekeepers on evil bay cause thats what TRU calls thier PTE stuff.
Other than paying or tradeing someone to get one of them for you if TRU is still carrying them. I got the all Black one and love it.

The big lots in sandford has 45 lookout towers, 15 howitzers,25 combat helicopters.
The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

World Peacekeepers is the name you might see at Big Lots and/or KB. TRU calls their military stuff Elite Operations.

Holy Crap! I just remembered that JC Penny has carried Power Team in the past so I checked their website. Check out these awesome deals:

http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/X5.aspx?De ... 2440|52466

The three 1:18 playsets are all on back order but they show a shipping date of 9/26/08. I have no idea what the shipping will be or if they will carry them in the stores but you get an incredible amount of stuff for the price. I'm not particularly interested in the 1/18 PTE stuff but those sets are a great value. For those interested in the 1/6 stuff the 4 figure playset shows a shipping date of 9/26/08 as well. The 1/6 Humvee appears to currently be in stock.

This is GREAT news!!!
While all of this has been released before, check out the Military playset-the one with the tower, jeep, etc, but check out the OTHER military vehicle. This one looks like a NEW release!!!

Yes, the Chinese military appears to have quite the love for old white walls..

That Chinese FAV looks interesting. It seems to be largely accurate in its looks, and pretty much to-scale. If I ever come across one, it might be an interesting additon to the collection. Something foreign

drove around today, hit up some Big Lots and even ended up on a nearby TRU. no dice on PTE stuff, the same stuff reported by others.

but at TRU, instead of finding nothing at the Elite Operations/True Heroes aisle... i bought this:

Navy Seal Boat

retail: $26.99
upc: 827529280221

i bought it on impulse. i've always wanted this one. i guess patience does pay off.

i bought a True Heroes command post thingy today. Got it for the sand bags and barbed wire; both of which i have precious little of. I'm also going to use the quad gun arrangement that came on the wierd little vehicle as the basis for a makeshift flakvierling for my uboat conning tower. Never seen the 'true heroes' line up here before.

The fact that there's a new release in that playset should put to rest any lingering rumors that the PTE line is dead. Also the fact that it's a Chinese vehicle could mean that they plan to broaden the nationalities of the stuff they are releasing. Hopefully the same will hold true for their 1/6 line.

You're very welcome. I couldn't keep something like that to myself. Hopefully stuff like this will show up soon in some other places as well. M&C Toys with their PTE lines seems to be one of the few promising companies around at the moment. I checked the PTE website and at one point there were quite a few US retailers. Their website hasn't been updated in over 4 years (no wonder people thought the line was dead!) and some of the companies listed are out of business now but as of 2004 they listed the following retailers:

ABC Distributing, ACME, AMES Dept Stores, Army Air Force, Biglots, Cherrywood, Dollar General, Duckwall-Alco, Duane Reade, Eckerd Corporation, Family Dollar, Far East Brokers, Fred's, Intradeco, JCPenney, KB Outlet, KB Sears, KB Toys, Kerr Drug, Kinney Drug, K's Merchandise, May's Drug, Meijer, M&J Toys, NAMCO, Ocean State Jobbers, Rite Aid, Rose's Stores, Santa's Toy, Small Blue Planet Toy, Variety Wholesale, Walmart, Wildlife, Wisconsin Toy, WRT.

Hopefully some of those companies are still carrying their products and with a little luck we'll be seeing more soon.

sears canada? I go to sears quite a bit and have never seen any PTE stuff there. Maybe it's new for them or maybe it's online only.

Interesting, thanks.
