Series #2 - You Pick!!!

Post by AirstrikeToys » Tue May 13, 2008 7:19 pm

Alright Guys... I know there isn't a shortage of opinions on this message board... :P :P :P

I've read post after post of they should have made this or that...

Well, now is your chance to decide what paint scheme Series #2 will be.

Yes, its a repaint. Look at this way, repaints help fund "other" projects.

Vote on the poll.

If we have a close race or a tie between 2 schemes, we'll make both!!!

We will take votes through Sunday. :D

Hah--I was first. I have to say the Tulagi is a sharp scheme.

They all look good to me. The late all midnight blue is a nice counterpoint to the earlier tricolour.

I really like the Randolph, the white tail looks great, but I really wish you guys would make a British scheme for the Hellcat.

As it stands right now, we plan on Series 4 being the British Camo Hellcat.

I can see that some of the airspace available for 21c is now becoming congested (as in "congested airspace typically refers to a sector that cannot accept additional aircraft due
to controller workload limitations").

May I ask why no Bunker Hill, or Enterprise shemes?

A BH scheme would go nicely with my avenger, and corsair.

Of the ones you have, I like the Lexington best.

Great news, I am all over the British Hellcat. Could you show us an example of the British scheme you are going with?

I don't collect 1:18, but I'd go with the Lexington purely because I used to see her every time I crossed the Pensacola Bay Bridge back when she was still stationed at PNAS.

The Randolph was the home of the first Hellcat Ace and then double Ace " Ham " McWhorter . That is why I voted for the Randolph.

The RAF Hellcat has got to have those cool looking invasion stripes . I know this will be a lot more work but this would be one snazzy looking Hellcat. :D :D :D

I would also vote for the Bunker Hill if it were there to go with my other two birds.

Can't wait to see the RAF Hellcat!!!

It's a close race between the Randolph, Tulagi and Lexington. As I mentioned earlier, if the final count is still this close, we'll make all 3...

Okay I gotta ask....why no Minsi III?

I would think that the aircraft flown by the top Navy ace of WWII would be a hit.

I've always wondered why companies are reluctant to make aircraft of top aces. We have no Hartmann, Nishizawa, Gabreski, etc.

Minsi III will eventually be produced but its going to be a while (probably 2009). It's a bit complicated... :D

LOL, and I'm guessing oil prices and evil Chinese overlords are part of the problem. :P

Since there won't be a Minsi III in the foreseeable future, I picked the Yorktown. I love that ship. :)
