Verlinden 1:16 Stug III....

Post by ostketten » Fri Apr 18, 2008 1:00 pm

Never seen one of these before, looks pretty cool for someone who is in to kitbuilding. 8) Not sure how accurate this model is, but Verlinden stuff is usually top quality.

difficult kits to build but very nice. It's actually 1/15. Will probably go for a ton.

Why do I get this feeling that 1/16 may be the future of armor? I feel like I will soon be sucked into another scale...

Thanks for the post OK. I have never seen this one before.

I'm pretty sure that's a discontinued Verlinden kit. In fact, I think Verlinden has discontinued production of all of their 120mm vehicles.

They still produce lots of figures and some accessories, but I don't think 120mm is their "growth" line. I think 54mm (1/32 scale) is...

Verlinden is is top of the line in 120mm 1:15/1:16th scale modeling. Their figures and armor are very nice, but it will cost you.
I went from 1/16th to 1/18th when 21st came out. It was all about $$$$$$$. A 1/16th fig will run about $30.00 and Armor $200.00 + but these are not toys. The detale and quality make them some of the best models around.

Armor Sells! 21st, FOV,BBI..... You just have to make it.
