1:18 Kyushu J7W3a Shinden night attack/radar picket aircraft
Something I found while thumbing through last month's edition of Koku-Fan magazine. This was on the magazine's back cover...
Apparently, this is not for sale to the general public, but built for museum display.
I've been a subscriber to Koku-Fan (koku is Japanese for aircraft/airplane) for some 23 years now...I use it as a handy reference for present-day and historic aircraft, and it helps my rusty Japanese character reading skills...

Japanese Shinden
I don't know if you all would be interested but Hasagawa makes this plane in 1/48th scale and it is available through Squadron.com. I built mine years ago as I thought it was pretty neat. There's some good photo's of the finished model in Google.

As stupid as this will sound, I could actually see this aircraft being made because it is a smaller size. I really think the future of 1/18 scale may lie in the production of smaller aircraft just due to the package size and the cost. Just a thought.
