Hey Tool, you and Gen. Blasto can muster opposing forces and have yourselves a genuine masssacre or maybe another Somme- I believe there are enough forces for several months worth of bloody stalemate

Tool, I wanna party with you man. That's a pretty incredible setup. How did you make the fortress? I want you to help me build a Massassi Temple from Star Wars. Very nice!

Hey Delta, that's a sharp 715 you have there. There are a couple MV guys here that I know of, TTT and myself. there may be others as well. I have a 1944 M2 high speed tractor (Cletrac), 1968 M715,Early WW2 M5 bomb trailer.neither of the last two have been restored. both have been started on however. The 715 is currently up for sale.MV's are fun but they cut a gash into the wallet  in the years gone by we have had.

This is OT, and I apologize.....

Wreckchaser:

It's nice of you to include me, in your comment, but after collecting MV's for 33 years, I am now strickly "civilian". Mrs. TTT & I moved to a smaller house last year with no detached garage to hide vehicles behind and no fenced yard for vehicles and only a one car attached garage.

My last two vehicles (M-37 and M-882) are in the hands of my sons. One son has my old house with the big yard and big garage but that's mostly filled (besides the M-37) with his Jeeps (2), quads (3), trikes (2) and mc (1).

I have passed on my love of MV's to my sons and I am proud of it. My daughter doesn't want any part of MV's. Hey, two out of three ain't bad. See, I know what the problem is with my daughter..... I dragged her to parades when my kids were small and she never liked being the center of attention, sitting in my WC-56 being forced to wave. My boys loved it, sitting with my helmets on and holding my Thompson sub gun. Oh, well, I still love her anyway...... She doesn't want to drive anything or even get her driving licence.... sometimes I wonder about her...... I drove her around for 30 years and now she has a long term BF to drive her around, but while this guy is very good to my daughter, sometimes he has trouble filling the gas tank, much less doing repairs..... they are very lucky my son lives next door to them...

These days, my Mv's are 1/18 and 1/6..... but it just isn't the same, riding down the street sitting on my 21C 1/6 RC Stuart. 8) it just takes forever to get anywhere.... I still get the same "riding in a MV" stares..

Wow, I love all of your rooms!! I love the planes hanging on the tool boards, that is such a smart idea. And the blue room is so awesome!! I love how each of you has a different way of displaying your pieces, and each display is unique even if it's the same type of stuff. Great job guys!! :D

ok, compared to most of the collections out there, mine is pretty weak, but I will say one thing: it's got a lot of variety! This doesn't include the 6 AC and 8 pieces of armor I have displayed in my office at work.

NOTE: as I was sitting at work typing this, I realized I have my camera here. So there ARE pics from work posted.

Binders full of collectible card games, a couple thousand vintage SF/Horror paperbacks, stacks of old Dungeons & Dragons and other RPG crap, a few hundred cds, a closet full of VW's, and a ceiling festooned with 32x aircraft.

I feel like a total geek sitting in here.

If you dress them up as W II Russian snipers and pilots they would be a little more interesting. :D

Great Collections/displays guys. I appreciate you sharing pics. Unfortunately at my current residence I do not have significant display area so most of my collection is being stored in our barn until I can afford to build a studio/museum. It sure is fun to see the different ways people have displayed their collections and the two custom painted 1:18 F-16's above are cool. Shows how cool they can look with different schemes. I would like to see these produced for us less talented groupies.

Very cool picklehaubes, picklhaube! Did you spend time in Europe to get these or do it from our side of the Atlantic?

Thanks guys. They would have looked better if I dusted them. Before our escape from the storm I packed them in those giagantic plastic containers. When we moved back alot of the fittings fell off and I have them in another box. I have not touched them in over 2 years :?
I have been collecting them for about 15 years. I get them from other collectors and a few off of e-bay. I am real good friends with Randy Trawnik. He is a big time collector and has also written a book on the subject. 3/4 of my collection is due to him. But I have not added to it in about 4 years or so.
