Anyhow, they look like great figures!
I was wondering about that too!
Plus on the FOV US officer, he is wearing a white collared shirt and some kind of leather straps across his helmet.
Are these correct?
If so, what theater and time period?

By the photos it appears they are supposed to be HBT uniforms, looks as if there are thigh pockets on the pants. In that case the jacket and pants should be the same color, OD.
As for the shirt, my first impression was a khaki shirt. Which wasn't usually worn with the combat uniform.
The helmets would have a brown leather chinstrap across the front, this is from the liner. A couple of the helmets look like the have scrim on them.

Paint the figures if you don't like'em ! *
* * * I found the New Sherman ( w/ chocolate brown camo ) for $19.99 @ TARGET ! *
+ =
*
The top of the turret is pitted just like real cast iron , + It has a triangle insignia and a # 47 , painted in white , on the sides too. *
* Edit :
-------> It also comes w/ a 50 cal. for the turret and a stowage rack for the rear , as accessories. *

MG-42:
Two questions about the FOV Sherman:
1. Is $19.99 the regular price or "clearance" price?
2. Can you post a review and photos of it?...(if you bought it)

Checked my local Target by phone and the person said the Sherman was not there but the shelf tag was"grey tagged" is what I think she said but she mummbled that part.
She also said that tag means it is in the system and should be in store soon!
And if you are wondering yes she new it was 1/18th scale because she came back and said you said 1/32 scale right? Ahh nope 1/18 "oh ok let me check again"
Could not think of anything to put here.

Went to Target this morning - score! Bought 5 Germans and 1 US. Decent figures. Nice that they can sit down easily. As Digger observed, they do seem a little more "toy-like" that the 21C stuff. But, they compliment the 21C stuff very nicely. Plus, who can complain about more well-made figures? Especially bad guys to shoot at.
Keep up the good work, FOV.

Edit :
----------> Sheesh ! * ... The loaders hatch on the side of the turret does'nt open afterall. Looked like it did though.
* Something for customizers to play with I'm sure. Looks like this could be an easy fix too.
...... and it has a rounded front , like an early Sherman. Not square or a stow rack there either , w/ a bunch of stuff on it like 21st.Century's. * =
* ....... and the rear idler or guide wheel is hollow too , (+) spoked (+) .

I went to my local Target even after talking to the woman on the phone about the Sherman. Natta not a shelf tag nor open slot did I mention NATTA!?.
Some one else was there looking for the tiger and Sherman also. He said and I asked also of a clerk that they will not be getting them at all they are clearanced out no restock etc
Is any one else as confused as I am? Wish we had some one from FOV that could say for sure whats up. I mean are these not going to show up or show up in the fall? yet we have a report of A Sherman in at least one store so...........
But the M1's were marked down to 20.98 Bradleys still full price picked both them up why I am not sure lol.
Could not think of anything to put here.

MG42: you mean the front edges of the hull are rounded, not square? In the pictures on the back of the FOV box, the front hull is sharp edged. A rounded front hull would be great.
Where is the paint scheme appropriate for?

Sounds like an awesome find! I can’t wait to get one especially with the rounded front. Great recon Mitch.
