1- BIG German half-track to pull our 88mm
2- M-4 High Speed Tractor to pull the BBI (not sure of brand) 155mm Long Tom. OR maybe a new 155mm Howitzwer
3- CCKW with seperate (really connected) 105mm Howitzer or cargo trailer,
4- How about a series of artillery or cannon pieces in a series of releases....like:
A US 37mm Anti tank gun packaged with a German 3.7mm Anti-tank gun
A US 57mm Anti tank gun
A US 105mm Howitzer
A US 40mm AA gun with carriage
5- OK, I'll just say it, am armored Pacific tractor with trailer. Heck, I'd even take an unarmored one.
6- M-46 to go on the Pacific or just one to do battle with out KT
7 - M19 Twin 40mm Duster
And this is before my morning coffee

Funny
I think it's funny that very few of us could even fathom the idea of being limited to one dream 1/18 item, let alone only post oneaferguson wrote:ok, let's be unrealistic. Now, what would your dream 1/18 item be? Just one item....but anything, in 1/18.
I too know the feeling - so many great things that would be so awesome!
But back to the spirit of the challenge - just ONE unrealistic yet amazing item:
An escort carrier
This keeps the size at a piddly ~25 ft. long; I could conceivably own a house someday with a place big enough to put that. It would be two unrealistic miracles for me to fit a full-size carrier in any home I'll ever own.
*Plus* obtaining the squadron of planes that went on an escort carrier need not be unrealistic - I bet there's even one or two of you out there that could field a full complement of ~24 Corsairs, Avengers, and/or Hellcats (+ Dauntless when that comes out!).
Now putting ~100 planes on the full-size carrier, whew! Though I suppose obtaining the full 1:18 crew size for any carrier would still be a daunting task!

I know aferg called out for us to get "unrealistic" about our dream 1:18 item. As for me my "realistic" dream 1:18 item is also my "unrealistic" item - the F-14 Tomcat.
Is it realistic to manufacture? Sure it is. The F-16 and F-18 are made; the F-14 can be made too. Most likely will cost more than the others. But very possible.
However it is also unrealistic at this point we'll see one within two or three years. ALOT more engineering (which translates into alot more cost) will have to go into making a Tomcat in workable 1:18 than almost over any other 18 scale plane made to date including the upcoming B -25 and F-4 and Mig21.
