I've been checking TRU on a regular basis but have not seen the BBI P51's yet. The Kiowas, Super Humvees, and the Shermans are readily available as are the modern figs.

I have also been checking my TRU for BBI Mustangs..
It may be that TRU is "test marketing" the Mustang to see if it will sell.. I know Target did that before they started carrying FOV stuff..
I hope, TRU will carry the Mustang, it is one on my list..

Re: Huntington L.I., N.Y. toys r us had...no P-51s......I was speaking to a guy buying some 12" BBI at the Stony Brook TRU who said (and I believe him) that he had picked up the BBI Mustang there about 2 weeks ago...if this is the case, they were snatched up in a hurry, because I've been doing some steady trolling & have yet to see one at any local TRU...

the recon helo

Post by 75th Ranger » Sun Mar 06, 2005 10:54 am

The BBI recon helo is a repaint!!!
and i was able to buy that helo last year and had it since a long time ago...to me bbi has nothing new out!
i have everything the have out since last year up to Jan 2005.....
that includes:
modern marine figures repaint #3
kiowa
super hummer
recon helo
p-51
sherman

I wanted to see the new WWII stuff like more vehicles and the supposedly figures...but it seems like BBI is just going to keep low product line this year...unless they are hidding surprises...
So far they haven't even updated their site!
it is so typical of what 21st used to do in the bad times....we will have to see what happens.
keep me posted,

Stopped by my local TRU today (Northern CA) and found that they had restocked the Kiowas and finally got a close up look at the BBI P51 as there were 2 of them on the shelf. Very nice! :D
