More to come later, but there might be work starting on a new plane or two in both 1:18th and 1:32nd both WW2 and German. The detail sets for armor I am personally interested in, but I cannot let my own likes/dislikes interfere with business. More soon as talks continue.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's an SM-1? :?:

AFAIK, all the USAF and USN air-to-air missiles are "AIM-" followed by a number, with the F4 carrying AIM-7 Sparrows and AIM-9 Sidewinders....

Detail sets !

Post by MG-42 » Mon Sep 10, 2007 6:58 pm

The "detail sets" is what got my vote in the first place.

I'll take anything for 1:18 armor too ,.. German & U.S. ! ... 8)

It's in 1:18th scale but I cannot say more now. Hang in there and I will have a new announcement coming soon when I am permitted to talk about it. My guy goes to China on the 19th.

1:18 caps

Post by nathanita » Tue Oct 02, 2007 12:39 pm

One thing that neither 21st or BBI has done has done well is provide a decent 50 mission crusher hat in 1:18. BBI has made an attempt with their P-51, however, it seems to be too small. The closest I can find are repainted German Officer caps, however, they are somewhat small hard to come by. OD or Khaki, officer or noncom, American or German; lots of possiblities.

Also, an overseas hat would be nice for the paratroopers and would certainly be unique.

Sorry I never replied, SM-1's (RIM-66 sea launched desig) (AGM-78 air launched desig) were used in Vietnam on F4 Wild Weasles's. They are Standard Missiles-1

I've got enough planes and no where to put them, BUT weapons packs for the 1 18th XD figures would be nice and would get my vote ;) I still think the allied WWII armour is hurting for different and better tanks  My Tigers love the Shermans, they're great for target practice  :P Germans need a nice transport truck too, like an opel blitz, I'll take a dozen of them myself :) Herr General
